  • +1 eliminating rng alltogether would be even better. and: indeed, refining as is (with rng and preservation wards) is depressing. stress. no fun.
  • maybe i was lucky so far... i waited something like 3-10 mn with my TR...
  • so true! and this is what i dislike most about our world in neverwinter -- though it's not specific to this game... i stupidly oppose against it on and on! it's our drive to a distorted, unsustainable world... edit: in real and unreal life :)
  • yes me! (i mean i like random dungeons queue) :) it gives my tr shorter queuing time and my dc more surprises! i admit i haven't been sent to FBI or ESP so far. improvement could be to let fresh 70ies do something beyond random levelling queue and maybe add FBI and ESP to heroes accord instead of normal dungeon random…
  • my experience is good so far. my tr gets the queue faster then before. with my dc i fortunately did not land in FBI or ESP yet. i find it fun to not know what dungeon will come up, and thus have more variety. for instance i have not done shores of tuern in a long time, and it was the first one that popped. in t1 dungeons i…
  • refined enchants that are filled exactly (without any overflow) stack, including rank 12 bondings. enchants with some overflow, even if it is exactly the same amount, say 100 points overflow, don't stack. i made my bondings rank 12 stack in order to move them more easily between chars. (it was a bit tedious :-) )
  • reminds me of blue marks of power when artifacts first started >>> 400k AD for the blue mark of power, a fortune back then... and there was this tiny tiny tiny chance for it to drop from a profession node. it took me weeks and weeks till i could upgrade my artifact to purple. :-))
  • i think the point is RNG in upgrading is not enjoyable at ALL for some people, like me. i'd prefer to pay a fixed price and know what to expect. coal ward is NOT the substitute. it makes no sense to use it for any chance higher than 1% at the moment.
  • just ran around soshenstar river. the bonding nerf is clearly feelable for my main, a dc. dailies will be clearly more difficult. i'd really prefer you address multiple power sharing through bondings rather than nerfing their stat percentages as heavily as you do. i also feel very stupid upgrading from R12 to R14…
  • these did not autoconvert at login on preview and i don't find any way to convert them to the new enchantment stones... i tested with greater mark of power, stability and union. edit: found forum comment, that patch notes say autoconversion is not included in this build... so this question is answered!
  • i like the stream lining and what sounds like a reduction to constant micro management and piling up enchants for double rp. the main unease i have with enchants is RNG though. this is what contributes most to upgrading pain and stress, when upgrading could probably be fun. i hate to see a new 3% and a new 1% (coal here!)…
  • the most striking effect of bondings is power sharing through bondings, which gives 4 times the shared power. we see power stats beyond 100k like this. it has been amply stated in this thread by forum members, but not been addressed in the planned changes by developers. to reduce our bonding stats now and partially sell…
  • same here in central europe ... constantly redirected when switching toons, then back to log in page ... and hanging entry screens as well.
  • some dislike one campaign, some another, it's subjective generally i have no problem going through campaigns with a new alt some of it is even fun but being able to buy one or the other campaign (SKT! :D) is a good idea, thank you!
  • i play with a non default fov (field of view) setting of 80 or 90, and the new zoom works fine for me. i'm very happy with this new function, because apparently i can bring my char even farther away without further distortions ... nice overview -- it's very enjoyable. thank you for implementing it!
  • happy about ornately carved box stacking now! thank you!
  • yes, and there is a thread here http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/discussion/1229312/prophecy-of-doom-still-partially-broken prophecy of doom does not invite usage, as it is now...
  • tried it out today, and it is as you say: prophecy of doom does not come off cooldown, when the enemy marked with it dies. no joy in using it like this, i hope it gets repaired to suit the description!
  • indeed! one more aspect to this: my faithful dc's main job these days is to PUG t1 that's where she has lots of work healing and protecting she is thankful for a constant extra buff from TI as DO -- especially as these groups damage is generally VERY low and she has to work hard enough protecting chars with little defense…
  • thank you for deeper insight here, thefabricant and rapo973! let me add something i already posted in the relevant thread (pc cleric build for mod 11 after the update changes) in the cleric forum: with my faithful dc soloing is MORE (not less!) difficult with TI than with (former) AA etc, even when damage of many powers…
  • indeed, with highlight on "over and over" ... fact is: it's hitting them over and over, and sometimes separately as chains radius is not very big and ranged mobs stand far apart in river district... with lots of dodging in between... tedious, to say the least, same thing every day... when similarly geared -- let me take a…
  • adding another aspect: SOLOING with TI and 30% damage increases became more difficult for me than with former AA (faithful, 2,9k IL, no guildboons but almost all other boons, R12 bondings) it was most noticeable in "out of supplies" and with ranged riverside mobs. reason: when before the patch i got to around 70k power and…
  • @kemi1984 yes, left of the door, looking from outside... good for orientation! ;)
  • @kemi1984 yes, i remember the first days with valindra quite well! :) and the months after... and the clock segments each of us took care of (fun times!) ... and yes, also pugged valindra these days quite a bit there are times it's near impossible to finish (except soloing her in the very last phase and that takes quite a…
  • @dread4moor father, no doubt you are the better and more serious player! and that's what it was about... there are worse players than you, like me... in this beautiful game and we normally have no more than 1 dc in our groups, and we even PUG! (which makes it all quite a bit more difficult than in the experience with Kali…
  • @dread4moor sorry, what you suggest here is for the holy few it makes so little sense to give this "good advice" to people for whom it is TOTALLY out of reach... go PUG valindra a few times and see for yourself
  • it's funny how top geared people who run in buffer groups (2 dc's!) want less buffs... why did you gear up so excessively? how representative do you think a 2 dc group is, when PUG's always have one dc at max? take off some of your stuff and let smaller dc's/groups be! btw: it was clear from the last twitch stream, how it…
