Not sure how I, in any way, insinuated that you were dumb. If you went to the Courier, read the mail & it has no attachment with your AD...then the only other option I can suggest is support (which seems to be somewhat broken). Sorry about your frustration, I'd be frustrated with the situation too.
Any attachments in mail (items or AD) can only be retrieved at the Courier in Protector's Enclave by the Auction House. Look for the Letter symbol on your map.
Tried this again, it does happen depending on the speed of consecutive Shift key presses. Tending to agree with sophism about possible latency. Any consecutive presses roughly a second (think "one mississippi" then press shift) apart seem to work fine, any consecutive presses faster seem to duplicate the "bug".
I'd consider bind to account, but not bind to character. Chances are that if you took it off your character...you probably wouldn't have a need to put it back on. Also the ability to fuse the enchant would need to remain intact.
I've bought Zen for this game, never had to go to the Zen Exchange to get it. I've transferred it to NW from the account page and it shows in my inventory in-game, the tab that shows your AD, gold, etc.

For the last several days, I've noticed that on my TR & GF I get no AD when completing the "Protect the Caravan" mission through the Gateway. None, zero, nada.
