There is a difference whether you want to admit it or not. In your idea, you want to take all you minor stones and STACK them beyond the 50 charge limit. That would defeat the purpose of them having charges in the first place with a cap. I merely suggested letting you merge them to the current limit of 50. No exceeding the…
This workaround, which I've used many times, isn't always optimal. There's no harm in suggesting that perhaps there is a better solution. I don't agree with @chidion idea of being able to stack minors to 60 charges. To me the solution would be, if I have a minor stone with 10 charges and another minor stone with 30…
@brewald This was resolved ages ago (to the dissatisfaction of all tanks). The 40% bonus was (allegedly) not supposed to be calculated on companion bonuses. When they "fixed" that, tanks lost that bonus.
My take on the mentoring system is quite simple. Anyone that actually wants to mentor someone in the game probably already does. Anyone not currently doing mentoring, that needs a progression reward in order to undertake mentoring, would probably not be in it for anything but the rewards and therefore not make a great…
I know this LOOKS like they keep killing the warlock but let's look at this through a different viewpoint. I seem to recall a point where the only tank in the game was the guardian fighter. Then the devs slowly started to erode the GFs powers right before releasing the Paladin class. That made rolling a new pally class an…
Some would argue that they do the job just fine depending on the comp you have out. Perhaps the issue isn't the stones effect but the damage output of 95% of companions? Also, whether you or I think it's optimal or not, I would hazard that under no condition do the devs want players running around in afk mode while their…
Because you haven't seen any changes does not mean that there have been no changes. https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/discussion/1250464/uprising-preview-patch-notes-nw-115-20190715e-1/p1 From about 8 months ago, healing was reduced in PVP and the pally sigil effects were reduced all around. Maybe you're…
Ran it 8 times. Turned the sound off and just let the campaign numb my mind. Primarily running the weeklies with some Basement Invest quest sprinkled in and Bank Heists thrown in.
This has been like this since the inception of new workshops and has been brought up in the past. I don't think there has ever been any official comment on it. Sure would be nice to know if it's a bug.
What are you guys worried about? I'm sure whatever the problem is will get fixed expeditiously! When has the team ever let the warlock community down? It's not like this is the same dev that told people who couldn't do enough DPS on warlocks that they needed to "git gud"....
I don't disagree with this but it essentially has nothing to do with arguing against training runs. I think anyone that's been playing for over a year falls into the "rewards suck just about everywhere" camp. Most vets don't need the RAD. I wish I could just cash out all my RAD and spend it in one swoop just so I have an…
I stopped in to read all the great ideas on how to move forward with rewards in neverwinter.....but I stayed to finish reading someone's warped view on how a clear exploit could be thought of as "creative adventuring". Can people, for once, accept that this is a videogame based off a licensed property that has it's own set…
There should be a BiS and normal player divide. They're in two different phases of the game. To pretend they're alike and should have access to the exact same content is ridiculous. And nowhere have I ever argued that content shouldn't be made for all players. The point here is that there is content for newer players to…
5? That hardly seems like much of an effort to me and I farmed them to get the drops on multiple characters and helped others farm for them too. Farming lures is far easier now than it was when the mod initially dropped on top of that.
This idea failed as soon as you stated no rewards. Bad rewards are still better than no rewards. Locking real runs behind some training wheel runs seems like such a simplified view of a solution to something that's not really an issue either. People failing because they don't know the mechanics well? Oh no, this has never…
I'm not even going to bother reading most of your statements. This right here sums up the level of thought put into your arguments. If a player can't do LoMM, why would they, or should they, even be attempting to do IC? Do you comprehend progression? Your arguments are always the same. Oh no, this new shiny thing is only…
Completely valid. Most don't want to lead a Q. I didn't want to lead a Q. But I still have done it when I wanted to accomplish something. Wanting and doing are not the same thing. Absolutely true. Our guild didn't have enough members ready. We must have stopped trying right? Oh wait, no we didnt. We went outside our guild.…
Abandon should be 5 minutes just like waiting on vote to kick. 15 minutes is a long time to waste in a Q. It's fairly apparent within 5 minutes, in almost every single piece of content, whether your group is competent enough to try to beat it.
What does the status quo have to do with anything? I'm still running ToMM without Lionhearts (damn you RNG give me my pally MH already!). The group I run with regularly cycles in1-2 people. Our core don't all have Lionheart. We still manage beat it. The so called status quo groups you keep complaining about didn't stop us…
Another enormous issue I have with a polling system. The options in a poll structure are normally short & quick. If you look at some of the CDP input, people have written up lengthy background notes that support these ideas. You can't get that across in a poll whatsoever and without this information you get skewed results.
One would think the actual point of keeping the hardest content in the game hard is so people have something to work towards. I guess the devs didn't realize how many players would have an issue trying to improve and work towards a goal in a game where everyone could just walk through new content the first weekend.
Correct me if I'm missing something here but I'm going to oversimplify this. • Group BiS can beat ToMM and get Lionheart • Group NotBiS can't beat ToMM but wish they could get gear that was close to BiS gear through alternative means. So we're, in this case, talking about Lionheart weapons and ToMM rings. One can easily…
There is no requirement to make a long-winded post so anyone can come in and throw out 3 sentences. Will they? Probably not. Just like only a subset of players will fill in polls. I'll agree that any topic being discussed is at the mercy of being skewed since only a certain set of players use the forums. But I'm not 100%…
The problem isn't the design of the boots. Risk/reward is a part of game design and it's nice to see it integrated even if I don't 100% like this item in particular. The real problem is player mentality and the devs shouldn't take that into account when designing gear. The players should be adjusting their practices based…
