I'm not so certain - with only two weeks to go and no information whatsoever since the announcement? That'd be a lot of hype to drum up in a very short amount of time, to say nothing of how little meaningful testing would get done on the preview shard. M4 may have synced up with the 5e release, but its release date was…
Check back next week; the standings are ranked by total reviews, so the current week's quests are generally lower because they haven't had a full week yet. It sure as hell isn't dead last because it's worse than Culling the Cult of the Dragon, I can assure you of that.
My week 7 reviews are as follows. To me, at least, it feels like the overall quality level has been going up over time. If this trend continues, the next few weeks should be amazing. Of Kobolds and Cultists - 3/5 This quest was enjoyable, but the story was kind of all over the place. I'm also annoyed by being told to…
My week 6 reviews: Faerun's Finest - 1/5 This quest was terrible on all levels. R. A. Salvatore must be rolling in his grave, because this quest has killed him. City of the Lost - 4/5 Strong story, very impressive mapwork. Definitely room for improvement, though. The Rise of a New Leader - 3/5 An entertaining quest. The…
And here's my reviews of this week's quests: Turtle Soup - 5/5 An amazing quest with strong lore ties and a great story. Awesome conclusion! The Crypt of Ezra - 4/5 A fun dungeon crawler with well-placed encounters and a good story behind it. I'm looking forward to the inevitable sequel. Joining the Dragons - 4/5 Really…
It's not made explicitly clear in the quest, but it also doesn't actually take place in Kara-Tur - Xiousing is a district of Marsember, which is in Cormyr.
Yeah, but at only a month out with no announced features or release date? With Tyranny of Dragons it happened three or four months in advance; I kinda doubt that's gonna be the case this time.
Week 4 reviews! Overall, not quite as strong as week 3, but still better than the first two weeks. Unearthed Draconica - 5/5 This quest did a lot of really cool things I've never seen done before. Top-notch mapwork, and a story that rewards exploration and discovery. Love it! Culling the Cult of the Dragon - 1/5 An…
I'll probably get to yours tomorrow night. Tonight I played the crappy ones to get them out of the way, and between Culling the Cult of the Dragon and Missing (which actually got two starts instead of one this time, I think because I had just played Culling) I didn't really feel like playing anymore.
Looks like the sixth is in the Review tab again; had to search the names instead of the short codes, since the Featured ones get new codes: Unearthed Draconica NW-DKJ4QF9CQ @ducdilimoni
After glancing at some of them, I'm guessing the majority simply failed to hit the 15m average duration. Either that, or they were never submitted for featuring.
Believe it or not, while playing some of the entries that have yet to be featured, I found one that was even worse. If "Faerun's Finest" winds up being featured for the contest, I suggest you imagine that the entire quest is actually a drunken hallucination, and your character is really in the alley behind the Driftwood…
Just a minor nitpick, but the Scourge Warlock class is available to everyone for free; the Scourge Warlock Booster Pack merely contains extra items to help level one, just like the Hunter Ranger Booster Pack from M2.
My week three reviews: The Dragon Scroll - 5/5 The use of multiple zone maps populated with regional enemies makes it feel like it's taking place in the actual game world. A really strong story with some good combats. The Dragon's Prize - 5/5 Wonderful quest all around. Great story that tied in perfectly to the Tyranny of…
The first time I played The Dragon Scroll, the key didn't drop. I mailed the author, and played it again about a week or so later, and it dropped just fine from the intellect devourer pack near the mind flayer boss, so I assumed it was fixed. Guess it's just finicky (or maybe the quest item has a tendency to get thrown off…
And I don't think I've played either of those yet; I look forward to doing so! Those plus The Dragon Scroll (which was really cool) and A Game of Dragons (which I also haven't played, but has a lot of good reviews) makes this look like a very good contest week.

Well, since I know the Foundry doesn't have black ice gear, here's a screenshot of my older gear: Name: Ilztin Arkenviir (Menzoberranzan Renegade) Animation: Reading, book Text: The surface world is certainly better than Menzoberranzan; I can study magic here without having to constantly worry about being killed just to…
