  • Incoming... plus 3% max hp is better then 2% incoming healing. Metallic is superior, but for the cost it should be...
  • Okay, companion damage appears to be the same, but all classes seem to be stealth nerfed (not in patch notes) by about 20+% It’s getting close to the point most content will require groups...
  • I agree and give up on test server...they seem to care less about communicating with us. I don’t expect them to hold our hands or even answer all the sometimes crazy advice given to them, but it would be nice if they occasionally stated their intentions and vision in various areas rather then ignoring us and making…
  • New patch is up and won’t have a chance to test until tomorrow. Companions damage improve at all?
  • No, it doesn’t feel pushy or impatient... *wistful sigh*

The expeditions are easy to solo, but the weekly bonus missions are proving inconsistent. Chult was done in 5 minutes, but on the way back to portal I ran into an elite T-Rex. He took…

They are not as important, though, and upgrading them seems…
  • I would wager they don’t see it as a problem, because seriously, what endgame toon is utilizing runestones currently?! Maybe an hp build pally? I can’t think of any other scenario that someone would purposefully eschew bondings, which goes to show the disparity that is finally being acknowledged with making bondings built…
  • We haven’t even received confirmation soul investiture dropping off after 5 stacks is a bug or wai. It desperately needs fixing along with at least one more way to apply it other then hadars grasp for bosses.
  • I plan on running high crit/high ca and vorpal is easily my only choice for group content. I plan on bloodtheft/lifedrinker for solo survivability. Would be nice to have other more dps related weapon enchantments as bronzewood is probably a distant second from vorpal unless you are running just a ca build.
  • No one is asking for combat to be optimal. We are asking for every companion, wether combat or augment, to be an equally viable choice so we can have some selection for our summoned. We were actually at this point on preview before yesterday’s patch killed it. Why are you so hung up on augments being lousy before so now…
  • The sad thing is I can see them nerfing augments to ‘fix’ the problem instead of making combat companions useful again. I came into this preview very optimistic. That optimism has slowly disappeared with every new patch. :-(

  • Please revert companion damage to last patch. Current damage levels especially for at will casting pets dramatically cuts down on viable summonable pets. It also unbalances combat vs augment companions, making augments a clear winner for summoned now. Last patch almost any companion was a possible choice, making the…
  • Since there is only one slot in all the new companion equipment and we are only talking about three runestones at this point, I am good with the lion share of the stats being on the equiptment.
  • Yeah totally disagree with your number 7. Companions are finally meaningful and not just bonding procers. Their damage is fine where it is at currently. I think the balance the devs achieved between augments and combat companions along with making any companion a potentially relevant summon is the most positive change this…
  • Companion damage is exactly where it needs to be to compensate for increased stats with augments. Dps is roughly the same utilizing either on a well built toon.
  • Not saying I like it, just that I understand the choice if they keep it that way.
  • > @artifleur said: > All enchantments and runestones from the choice packs are now bound to account on pickup. > > If this is intended please remove the exchange system altogether cause it would only be one big scam. Ummm....no, it still gives ability to change out enchantments for personal use if you so desire. The reason…
  • Anyone know what they actually changed Priestess Moonbow’s combat attack powers to now? I have heard confirmation that she no longer gives 20% crit chance, but can’t figure out what it is now as I can’t seem to inspect companions in the collection on preview server. You actually have to own s companion to see its combat…
  • Thanks Rainer. It would be nice if they actually released real patch notes though

  • > @"burnthelamb#6611" said: > Yes lowjon I did miss that. If you can quote where he said -30% to all monsters I'd love to read it. Unless you're referring to "Critter Health has been reduced by 30% across the board" which does NOT mean all monsters but a very specific set of monsters. Actually that does mean all monsters.…
  • It’s what makes it a fair trade off. A companion that actually does decent damage with potentially interesting combat effects or a companion that gives way more stats, but doesn’t contribute otherwise. I am actually quite liking the companion changes and look forward to testing my stable of previously untouched…
  • I agree that I would prefer to see two fully fleshed out dps paths instead of the hybrid damanation/fury dps we have currently.
  • At the end of the day, aoe only makes up maybe 30% of the damage in dungeons. We need to have a better single target synergy. I would like to see spheres reworked into a 750 magnitude single target spell. As it sits, absolutely no one will use the spell as it is.
  • I am not a Garlanx fan, but his idea to have curse bite have no cooldown, but consume soul sparks while leaving lesser curse intact would go a long way to fixing the class and giving it some legs. I ask that the devs give this idea some serious thought.
