There are a couple of reasons for this: 1. Lots of purchases made by people trying to get the new healer...lots of profession packs opened, lots of wards for sale. Prices fall. 2. Why use a coalescent ward, (which can run over 100k ad on the AH), at all? The much cheaper 'green' wards will eventually give you the same…
I use my cleric companion as bait, since it's useless in 40+ content for healing, (in combat). As an aggro magnet, it buys my character a few precious seconds by keeping some of the trash busy. And when the battle is over, and she poofs back to life, (with full health), all her healing powers are focused on my character. I…
I certainly agree with your bolded sentence. PvP, and PvE demand, (often times), different styles, and different builds. Same for group and solo play. Not really a respec...but at least different builds that can be switched to depending on how the game is going to be played that day.
Ahh....got it. I thought you rerolled your stats on your respec. I'm still patching, and I have no direct idea what the respec will cover. Interesting...why did you originally stick with 12 CHA?
All online games tweak, patch, update, balance, adjust, and nerf over time...in that sense, all online games are still 'pre launch', and always will be. Even games that are single player, like Kerbal Space Program, are getting in on the action. For good reason....it obviously makes good business sense to do so. Lastly,…
There are always a few special snowflakes out there. It's one reason WoW stayed away from hosting official forums. There will always be howlers, and screamers, that will, if ignored, will gradually increase font size, and color brightness to make sure everyone hears them. Give them a month or two, and they will be reduced…
You don't know that. In all likelihood, PW is continuing their investigations, and additional action against mule accounts, and friends is still on the table. A complete wipe would have punished the 99% of players that did nothing wrong....it was the wrong way to go, I'm glad that PW did not go that route. Punish the…
I only started playing a week ago. So? I'm glad there wasn't a wipe, (even though it would have barely affected me). The rollback seems the best way to deal, at least in the short term, with the worst of the exploiters. I would imagine that PW will continue their investigations, and further actions against the accounts of…
I doubt they'll say much until they have concrete information to pass on to their players. They're not going to say "Well, we think, that maybe, if the entrails read right, and the tea leaves do not predict imminent doom, we'll have the servers up in one hour". That will be taken as a promise of having the servers up in…
A total wipe is not the answer....it hurts far more innocent players, than exploiters. This game will earn a very bad reputation if that happens....even while still in Beta. (and remember, it's in beta for PW too...they can't just take the easy way out, they have to treat this game as 'live', they have to figure out ways…
That would spell the end to my Half Orc TR, which I started yesterday. His gear is 'meh' though, so leveling him back up would be a pretty quick exercise.
Well heck. I drove 6 hours today, (work related), and was looking forward to some fun Neverwinter play at the hotel. I even installed the client on my laptop! I was even going to buy some Zen today.....just to find out what's in those neat purple boxes I have.
