In my opinion, to make the Massively part od MMORPG appeal to the masses you need to have Solo, Small Group, Large Group and so called Raid content. Everyone has a preference and should not be excluded due to the fact they like to Solo or they want to sit by a forge and craft all day. To each their own.

I personally like the 3 realm/country/Faction thing. Worked very well in DAoC till ToA expansion did alot of harm to the game. I think foundry will be in concert with regular content updates. There are some amazing minds out there and it only makes sense to let them add to the game. But im sure if they only relied on player made content it would not work that well.
