The only gripe I have with other classes dodge mechanics is that my attacks/encounters miss even if their dodge is used a full second after my encounter hits. But I've learned how to counter that anyway. GWF is by far the most mobile class.
If you're using them against bads. Rogues don't stand a chance against a GFW if he knows anything about his class, and a GFW will keep a CW running for an hour while the team derps him
As a GWF at 60.. no other class gives me too much trouble 1v1. You just gotta play them right. By the by, I love saying "**** you" to a rogue's face when their testicles reside in their smoke bomb.
Well, as 75% of the games have an afk player you're fine. Just be that one. There are even games that are group que'd to let the other team win. You still get 400-500ish glory for a win, near 1000 with the bonus. Gear is only 3100 to 4200 a piece.
On topic: Que's are useless. If you want a good comp pre-form. On cleric: Since most of you clearly understand you can't kite, STOP RUNNING. Stay new the tank (if there is one) and dps, move and evade in a CIRCLE. Otherwise, the adds Will. Not. Die. Seriously. Guaranteed everyone will survive longer if you man up, take a…
Vote to kick would be ideal. Party leader power to kick pugs in dungeons and PvP is completely absurd. The only time I support that is when we kicked a ninja, but a vote could have easily handled it. And giving power to a non-grouped player over a group of players que'd together is ludicrous. It's an MMO and therefor…
Ok, well a note to clerics. Don't run away from tanks and dps. Add's will not be taunted or hit because you're the idiot keeping them moving. Strat's work both ways.
This ^ And yes mages can **** your *** if you just use sprint.. that's why Cryptic gave us a charge.. try it, thank me later ps: if you still die to a mage its your own fault
Yea I was more expecting slower, extremely heavy hitting attacks but those aren't an issue to me as much as I was expecting a true D&D experience and having a 2H fighter wearing heavy armor.. but the new version of D&D they modeled after completely removes any and all amazing aspects of the table-top. They should have…
A GWF has a great deal of mobility. You always have sprint, which has a decent recharge rate on stamina. Early there is a leap you can use, and later on there is Punishing Charge which is a rush forward. Punishing Charge has 3 uses and recovers a use every 8 seconds. Once I put Punishing Charge on my encounter bar, closing…
I'll just say that the PvP gear comes with power, crit, and armor pen for offensive stats. The only things it's lacking imo is recovery. But my personal preference is majorly power and armor pen. When I was leveling life-steal helped quite a bit, and crit is always nice.
