I'd like to see options for all of these. The only reservations I have is the way everyone can use a companion. Having 20 companions running around just seems strange to me. I like the way StarWars did it. You could have a companion out in a group, but only if the group wasn't already filled.
I'd like to be able to run through dungeons in whatever size group i decide (maxed at 5, of course. I don't really even like the idea of everyone running with companions out in dungeons, but boohoo). Also, I like the idea of a voluntary downleveling system when grouping with higher level players. That way they can keep the…
Ah, good point. Hadn't considered that. I'm in favor of both changes to deity choice and background then. I don't think it would be out of the question to charge for it in the zen shop or something. I'd pay for it, and I'm stingy when it comes to spending money on myself. Probably only buy that and more character slots.
I could care less if they add in the background changes, but the worship changes would be something I'd love to see, especially if other gods are added.
I wonder how they're gonna organize the class selection screen. I feel like they could make players feel like they're receiving more customization if they just did that process a certain way. Say, instead of having a class selection screen where you choose your class between guardian fighter, great weapon fighter,…
The only sure complaint I have is the two-finger stance, but I think they're doing something about that. I don't know anything about this for sure because I've only heard about it secondhand, but there's talk of the devoted cleric having better crowd control than the control wizard so far. That would be a tad…
I think I may be able to clear up some foggy areas with this conversation. From what I read of Ryger's post SWTOR's fall was SWTOR's fault for various reasons, perhaps one of the biggest being the false hype. The false hype (and of course the overall crappiness that made the hype false) was the problem because they…
oh yeah. I didn't even come in until a little before BC and the leveling was still slow. At the time, I didn't like it because my brother was already way ahead, but now that I look back at it, I liked feel that I'd taken the time to earn my levels. Of course, some people have lives that kept them from advancing as quickly…
Yeah. I'd really like a tiefling sorcerer, but as that isn't in the game yet, I was just gonna make a tiefling CW. If they do eventually add in sorcerer (some say they will, some say they won't) then I'd love the ability to switch my cw to human or something and making the new class a tiefling.
I will not be buying a pack. I would if I had the money. I didn't choose any of the poll options because I don't think they're too expensive, I just think I'm too broke.
Yeah, you would think that after using the thing for so long they'd have gotten used to it enough to not have to constantly keep their fingers up to keep it levitating. Makes me feel like my wizard's a bit of a sissy (and shuddup, wizards aren't sissies. Its a robe, not a dress.) not being about to keep an object floating…
Eh, I didn't really plan to play drow anyways. I lost my realms virginity to Drizzt (The Crystal Shard about 3-4 years ago), so I consider him kinda sacred. I wouldn't want to deface his image by contributing to the inevitable wave of Drizzt knockoff characters! :) To sum it up, I'm fairly indifferent about the drow delay.…
Thanks for the welcome! I've actually been around for a couple of months, but I grew to hate my old username, so I got a new account. Great to meet everyone! I can't wait to play with you guys.
I don't think I'd like battleground PvP int his game (at least not very close to launch), but I would like to see a dueling feature or maybe just open world optional flagging. Of course, I'm not sure how their doing the whole good/evil thing considering the lack of evil deity options.
While I think starting in 1st edition lore would be cool, i think I prefer 4e. When working with the newer lore, I feel like I'm having more of an impact on the shaping of the forgotten realms than I would playing in 1st. Ya'know, seeing the effects of the decisions of characters of the most recently released books and…
