Yes they did do a backup prize from memory. And I totally agree, discarding "rewards" that you have worked for is a really negative transaction. Like many rewards from Winter Festival to Siege etc Just make stuff unbound so we can at least sell it for a few k AD on the Auction House. Please.
Yep. Generally content over the last couple of years has been a bit meh tbh. I like the rope jumping in whatever mod that was. And some of the hunts have been nice last few years. But yeah I remember my first t-map in Chult gave me a really great face mask/armour piece that was lush! it was a real buzz, I farmed a few more…
I agree mostly. Whilst Item level is not a perfect indicator of being able to play the game, its as good as we are going to get. I run 3 toons at about 75k item level and all are capable of finishing Gzenemids reliquary [normal] if we get an average item level of around 65k. I have been in a pug that melted most of the…
Um I partly agree, partly disagree. Cradle has a number of specific mechanics which need to be done correctly or it will fail. Like the discussion above about the Bore Worm all mechanics can be "learnt" but that takes effort and communication. Admittedly Cradle mechanics [hit the skull, drag the cubes] are child's play…
I began reading this thinking it was sarcasm, but I don't think it is :) Honestly, if you enjoy it that much, then your enjoyment should be reward enough? I haven' run a RC for literally years - are there reward chests at the end as per other dungeons etc? For me there needs to be more incentive to run it ONCE per day :)…
I tend to agree mostly. Sure you can form your own group, but the game mechanics are there to promote random runs with random players. I don't tend to run RADQ these days as its all about the bosses. Its easy to waste 30 minutes to get to a boss that you cant defeat due to whatever reason.
Ok so the new mod district and quests are all pretty dull really. The Drider captain's web is way over powered. The mini-bosses are almost fun. The whole area seems empty and devoid of "life", more like some sort of sad refugee town [maybe that was the intention] The new trial is doable with scrolls pretty easy, but bugs…
Some good points about survivability as a melee class - which has been an issue for some time as you say. Lifesteal had got a bit out of hand, I had a Guardian Fighter stacked with Lifesteal and Deflect and I could go fight Baphomet and go AFK for up to 10 mins and my toon was still alive and kicking... I think the…
I would have thought that there would be many more players on console than there are on a PC. At peak times in England when a new mod comes out or a new event which people like [for example the last mod when it dropped] there were maybe 600 players online in the new zone. [This was at around 8pm local time in England]. I…
yes + 1 to this idea. Being honest, the amount of over complication around mounts and companions, now with added collars [well for some time] etc means that you either: a) look it all up on spreadsheets outside the game to work out what to equip, which companion to get, which arti set, what is BiS, which enchants to rank…
Great post and so true. I have returned to Tanking and its a lot more fun than button mashing as a DPS by rolling my face across the keyboard and holding down the left mouse button :) But it means that in solo content my DPS loadout is pretty weak to say the least. Back on topic yeah, if you PUG as a Tank or Heal you…
Wow thats great. Ive only ever had one problem, they made some attempts to fix it but it never got resolved. But no one ever offered me an Zen though... maybe I should go back and ask them!
Rarity? Hard to get? I cant remember where he came from... Just looked him up and seems to give this "Player Bonus Power: When in combat for longer than 30 seconds, your Power and Defense are increased by 1.5%/2.5%/3.75% . Increases the drop of Time Cards and IOUs by 10%." Power and Defence increase at Mythic of 3.75% - is…
ToDG = Throne of Dwarven Gods skirmish which is pretty easy to troll and also it has set timers on it, so its a minimum of 10 minutes to complete. And if you get someone trolling the HUlks its even more annoying.
Yep 100% agree - much prefer this updated version. I think it took me about 10 minutes to complete today, whereas last time it was more like 20+ minutes some days.
I think its getting a bit nit-picky here :) The concept of The Foundry brought me to NW, but as a casual player I just ended up playing the game, I didnt have time to construct dungeons and adventures. So yeah The Foundry is dead. BUT the concept of tweaking an existing dungeon as per Undermountain Expeditions and the…
I agree 150% on being able to get older stuff another way. And also binding equipment to certain multiplayer content in general. Yep, when a "thing" is new everyone does is and heroics for example can be completed as can new trials/dungeons etc But yeah once the new "thing" comes along then the fact that certain stuff…
Oh how quickly times change - CoK is now completed by most groups in under 10 minutes. Power Creep yet again. Its now a fun trial as is Tiamat - both are easily doable with enough HDPS and a bit of teamwork.
Please give us more information as a starting point :) Can you start the game launcher? Do you get the Cryptic loading screen? Can you see your toons and go to the enter game part? How far along does the game NOT load?
Which is massively unhelpful from a player perspective. Thanks for this though I now just bash groups of Mobs until I get to 12. And also thanks to the other posters for their suggestions and help. But still I think I timed how long to run something like 4 of these type of quests on one toon and it took the best part of an…
Agree totally with the Mirage comment. Some of my toons are wearing 2 or 3 year old armour as quite frankly it seems to work better than higher IL stuff and the mechanics seem better as well, like summoning a demon [or is it devil?] to attack and help you in combat. Much more fun than the new armour.
Have a cup of tea, take a break or read a book for 6 minutes [or whatever it is] then go smash the Balor. I agree its a bad skirmish, but it is what it is :)
Ahhh that makes sense - I always get the option to use automatically, but then I have quite a few saved up over the years and I only tend to use the mass life scroll during the push pull phase of CoDG occasionally.
What he means is they work automatically if you get killed and have them in your inventory - you dont have to equip them or "use" them. You should get the option to use a scroll of life if you get killed. If you dont then they may not be in your inventory - do you have them attached to your belt etc?
