Too bad there's a lot less DD going around now that they jammed 90 minutes of gauntlygrym in their event rotation. I was basically only playing this game during DD's, now I'll be playing even less.
This felt like quite a joke indeed. We gathered 20 men for gauntlygrym, all of the groups ended in different gauntlygrym instances. Hurray. After spending an hour doing some weird PvE where all you do is grind followed by a PvP clusterfudge, you finally get to do the dungeon (but only if you won! Which we did, luckily).…
I'm not sure if most people are aware of this but the best way to earn gold presently is actually to PvP during the arena hour. For 1 glory you can buy a battle potion worth 25 copper. You get roughly 1300 glory if you win a match in this period and matches typically last 10 minutes. 1300 glory = 1300 battle potions for 25…
I'm not sure, enchants cost more money, people can't afford them, buy zen to get AD to buy enchants? To be fair, I don't think cryptic did this for money, the problem is I don't really know why they did it at all. It may have been to punish botters, but then they should've thought of a solution that doesn't punish everyone…
The economy will be full haywire next patch. I'm having a hard time predicting what will happen to be honest. I think enchants will be worth a ton because their what most people will be spending money on when you can't spend money on gear.
The difference is that wow has a ton of content, the content is properly balanced (I.E people don't automatically kick people of a certain class because the current composition isn't "perfect") and finally, the loot tables in this game are horrendous. I did FH 4 times yesterday and all he dropped were those rings, not…
You always had to earn your gear. It's not like the gear sold on the auction house is free. You still have to run dungeons to get the money to buy the gear in the auction house, it's just that you see progress regardless of whether your item drops or not. You could run the same dungeon 40 times without seeing your item…
I've always played MMO's with a BoP system and was quite confused at the BoE system in neverwinter but soon came to love it. Running dungeons is now profitable even if you don't need a single item from the dungeon. Hate one dungeon and love the other? Run the one you love, sell the spoils and buy the loot from the one you…
That is what I have been thinking as well after the patch. I'm also thinking that at low levels defense is greater as diminishing returns are low so the defensive increase outdoes the health, but i'm not sure. Guess I'll mess around with it.
I really don't understand this move, it's just retardation from cryptic. Making the stuff that drops from skill nodes rarer hurts pretty much everyone. Enchants are rarer Enchants are more expensive Farmers and botters make the same amount of money Everyone else must pay more on the AH. Welp.
What I noticed most of all is that even during the professions event, which sais you're guaranteed at least one resource from nodes, you get gray items. Good job, Cryptic.
One would think removing skill nodes at the beginning of dungeons would be enough. I generally always keep kits with me because people usually don't and it's given me good money in the past, it kinda sucks when you suddenly get a 1 foot pole, though. At least make the trash worth the same amount of dosh as your kit so you…
My impressions so far is that it's not so bad, but the impact of bad players is now much higher (Making pugs a pain). Before the patch, being a rather decently geared/skilled cleric I could make a group with bad players work. Now I don't have a chance, and as the cleric I usually get the blame. I ran kurrandax twice. The…
I can't believe some people are defending this. Sure, if you play perfectly and know each fight perfectly it does not matter, in 95% of encounters however, this is not the case. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we all need to learn. Any mechanic that makes it beneficial to stand around and wait for 5 minutes straight…
When you try to post if you hover over the 12.5% it even sais that it's 12.5% because you're posting without talking to an auctioneer, it's an extra 2.5% delivery fee.
I think a lot of people are missing the point. The point is that us clerics don't WANT the game to run with 2DC. I was looking forward to AS stacking being nerfed, so that regular 1DC runs were the norm, but at the same time they nerf AS duration so that 2DC is still more powerful than 1DC. Their goal should be a games…
I'm gonna throw my two cents into the fray here. I was initially positive to most of the cleric changes. I've so far felt healing was a little bit too easy in this game and more importantly, people demanding double cleric setups for some dungeons is just plain boring. I've done a ton of CN runs so far and everyone demands…
