THIS. This is why it's gonna take a long time for the economy to "balance" after this change. Call me "AD-Hoarder". Aint spending any of it unless I really, really, feel the need or want. And yeah: done with cash-for-Zen bit. Did it, done it, look what we get from it: constant deterioration of the game. It just feels like…
Even with double-refinement the amount of RP you get is the laughing stock of the entire universe, which make "normal" refining a horrific abuse of player effort and time. Hence, no complaints from this player.
I still have 7 million I've been building-up over the last couple months. Ain't spending any of it if I can avoid it. Call me AD Hoarder. I have the funniest feeling in my gut I won;t be the only one.
People who say they'll spend less time playing I suspect is a red herring; those who will spend less time playing do so for the bugs and previous changes. The nerf to professions regarding AD will either cause people to quit outright or they'll just keep doing what they're doing right now - which is to keep playing what…
Okay, then it must have been from Invoking bonus or a Leadership bag - I know I never purchased any. Edit to add: and to clarify: I am not a "zerger" - I don;t have BiS gear and could;t care any less. I'm rocking all blues and what not and the first artifact other than the initial free from Blackdagger is the…
I do upgrade them - and I've been buying GMOPs (or grinding for them in DR since Mod 6) and have about a dozen Coalescent Wards and truckloads of other stuff sitting in account bank, all of which were either loot or Invoke/Professions drops. (Edit: I've never ever once purchased a GMOP in game, but have purchased rank 8…
Master Defender Galeb Duhr with Protection Paladin rocks: he takes the aggro 50% of the time and I get combat bonus, then the beastie gives the aggro to me and he gets combat bonus. We are dynamic duo.
Agreed. At least with Companions there is the "inspect" option, which previews their look and it even works on the Auction House (right-click the companion icon and choose Inspect). They badly need this for all gear, weapons, and fashion.
Common sense does't work, simple deductive reasoning does't work, the most basic of logic doesn't work. Perhaps reversse psychology will work? Hey Devs: DON'T DO IT. WE LOVE OUR T-BARS TIED UP TO DOZENS OF DIFFERENT TOONS MAKING THEM USELESS.
Well, instead of hoarding RP people will begin hoarding their AD. I expect prices to drop, but number of buyers to dry-up. People are going to think very hard before spending their AD now because it's no longer so "easy" to replace.
The problem is that NO ONE WANTS ASTRAL DIAMONDS - except to convert it to Zen Points. Anyone buying Zen Points will spend it directly in the Zen market and not convert it to Astral Diamonds because there is no market for AD - everything of interest to spend AD on is no longer in the AH because it is all Bind on Pickup;…
Is the whacking of AD from all versions of Leadership happening today? (They did;t say when and I suspect it will be a really short notice when it does happen.)
I've been saying it since Mod 6 Launch: They need to readjust ALL levels from 5 to 70 to even-out the leveling curve; it should not take literally as long to go from 61 to 70 as it did you go from 5 to 60. Realizing the entire leveling process from level 5 all the way to 70 is the best way to do it (5-60 take longer; 61-70…
I concur Squire in Paladin pak is definitely up there in terms of survivability and ability in what it is supposed to do. And I've had most healer companions (except maybe the Shaman) - That squire is at or near the top of my personal list.
@Pan17 - I recommend you give the Economy FAQ a go - it explains how to transfer AD and things like that: http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Economy_FAQ :) Edit to add: That's my page, so if you find anything confusing or in need of updating, please mail me and let me know and I'll get right on it.
I concur with the O/P; And I suspect the reason so many Mods come out so fast is per I.P. Contractual obligations and that's all well and good. I also believe the Devs are just trying hard to do their jobs, and their jobs are to do what management and upper echelons tell them to do; it doesn't mean they always like it. And…
No - slowing down 5-60; speeding up 61-70 so it's an even curve. Context is your friend. It's shouldn't be 5-60 in two hours then 61-70 in three weeks. (Obvious exaggeration to make my point).
It's not going to happen. When (if) Leadership returns to Gateway is will do so for everyone, but without means to generate AD and possibly Leveling XP. Why they have that ability is something I've been wondering about since beta (as in: Why would they do THAT?)
I've been pushing on a theme with Trans Frost and Frostburn (Weapon/Armor) enchants and either going to go with a Polar bear or Upgrade my Winter Wolf to epic. These "Glacial" - themed gear would be awesome - where can I find them (or at least: where did you get yours?) Thanks
Yes they are...for DC *IDENTICAL* However as @lordemonrage states: it may have differences on other classes. I have it on my DC and checked both versions and they are very much doppelgängers for the DC. But have heard it reported as having differences on GFs, I think.
It's a useful feat for Devotion Path as many of the encounter powers are Primary: healing with other side effects (it's opposite for Protection Paladins where the healing is the side-effect). NOTE: One of the AT-WILLS is a 100% Healing power. I don't know it, but suspect this feat does not work on this as it is an at-will…
This. They need to just add up all the XP required to get from level 5 (first level-up after tutorial) to 70 - then use the same consistent *smooth* curve to balance it out. Right now is a relatively simple, shallow curve up to 60 then a brick wall super-steep curve to 70. Anyone unfamiliar with what's going on will…
Dev's already explained boons (and they work the same way in Star trek Online more or less): If boons are available through the guild: 1) Every member of the guild has access to them and can use them. 2) If member leaves or is ejected from the guild, he loses access to those boons. 3) If the ember joins another guild that…
I suspect it's a problem when I have been avidly playing since Alpha/beta times, have more toons than most and when the third *ever* Double AD event happened this last weekend I thought "Meh. Not even going to bother". So I logged-in, invoked, reset Professions, logged out. And I'm doing that even only once a day now. Have…
