Patching 2 of the exploits tomorrow. Time to see if this game will live or die... will they effectively wipe the AD/Zen from those that cheated or not...
You guys only get one chance to get this right. I hope you know it. Your entire community is watching to see if you care, how much you are willing to do to keep this game strong for the long term. You need to do whatever it takes, rollbacks/wipes, mass bannings, ip bans. Whatever it takes, if this game is going to succeed,…
Exactly. Time to stop feeding the fantrolls. It doesn't matter what argument you put up to show how absolutely freakin wrong they are, they just make up a new argument. This game is broke, wipe it.
So you are part of the very very small minority playing this like a single player game. Good for you, feel free to keep on playing with your eyes shut. The rest of us prefer to play an MMO.
I keep seeing this guy on ever post on the forum posting this same thing. This is an MMO, not a single player game. Others effect the entire game experience... welcome to MMO's.
Simple solution... for anyone that wants a good long term economy/game, a new shard, reroll... have to wipe toons on these shards, and you get any of your founder stuff on the new server. For anyone that loves a bad economy, broke game, already exploited, hacked, etc... you can stay here with your kind.
It's like buying a lemon car that blows up 2 feet down the road. The consumer has some protections. This has been fought in court before and easily won. Fix it, or give me my money back. That simple.
They probably haven't "discovered" the exploit yet. Just because thousands of players know about it and are screaming on their forums and social media accounts doesn't mean they have read it or care to fix it.
This isn't limited to MMO's either. Any fps you pick up is just as bad the day after its released. CoD's, Battlefield's, Ghost Recon Online... hacked, hacked, hacked.
I'm pretty sure the topic and first post say exactly that... they are happening in every game, major exploits that ruin the entire economy. Sure, we had some exploits back in the days of EQ... but not like this. The devs cared, banned the exploiters, banned the people who took gear and money from them to launder it, and…
I enjoy obtaining items that are "rare", or hard to get. If everyone and their dog can have one their is absolutely no point in farming endlessly for something that the exploiters already flooded the market with. It removes all sense of accomplishment from the game. Every good drop you ever get in this game will be worth…
As a founder, I'd like my money back. This is not unlike purchasing any other product and consumers should have some protection from companies taking their money and not supporting the game as consumers expect. There might as well just be a large middle finger when I log in that reboots my computer.
