Please get rid of the animation for negation enchantments.

So you made sure that most armor enchantments are next to useless and that everyone now thinks negation is the only one worth having in pvp - that's fine (not really, but we're used to this sort of thing). However, when one attacks a negation user, one has to deal with a GIANT, BRIGHT FLASHING SHIELD taking up half the screen and obscuring the battle. So, one cannot see where to go to dodge, to follow the target or otherwise move. While the GIANT, BRIGHT FLASHING SHIELD is in the way, one is reduced to button-mashing and blindly dodging.

The effect of the enchantment is game-breaking enough. It shouldn't also make it impossible to see the field of combat.

The same can be said of weapon enchants like Vorpal. I hate having the effects showing which take away from the gear I worked so hard to transmute  Please just give us the option to disable these effects already like you do with head and cloak.

Yes Vorpal et al are annoying, but not in the same league when it comes to obscuring what is happening on screen.

There may be another reason to disable the Negation animation... a few of us in CA has experimented in GG involving Negation. When we have someone with Negation nearby... the game lags. When we do not... the game is fine... with very little lag. The LED effect is enough to signify that someone is using Negation... it does not NEED an attack animation like KV.

Yeah my bad, I meant obscuring the actual item which is not the same as Negation effect mentioned here although I hate that its effects obscure the armor too.

I was totally on board with the disable-enchantment-effect matter until I realized how f'kn nice to have that feature is. Many don't appreciate the huge benefit of knowing what weapon and armor enchantment your enemy is running with.

Scenario A: Enemy is sparkly blue. Ok, I'll go burst him down. If he dies, at least he's dead.
Scenario B: Enemy looks like he just fell into a septic tank. **** it, I gotta kill this f'ker twice. Np soulforged sucks. Double kill baby!
Scenario C: Enemy is neither sparkly nor sewer ugly. Not A or B. You're dead meat. I'ma kill you first.

Armor enchant Negation and weapon enchant Holy Avenger. Isn't that what FotM is these days? :p

Preach to the choir. You're talking to the guy who disposed of a then-useless Perfect Negation for 3 mill only to buy it again for 10 when he returned to the game two modules later.
