There are a lot of important changes in module 6. One of them is health regeneration.
The effect of thise stat was changed from healing per time skaled from missing health to increasing all healing effects. But a lot of GF's skills are designed to previously health regeneration.
In module 5 I've got a lot of thise stat on my tanky GF. And for me it was possible to tank 3-4 players in PvP (of course I had zero damage). But now in module 6 instead of healing I have just +-10% increasing of healing effects. IT'S TOO LITTLE AND USELESS COMPARED TO HEALING PER TIME:(
GF's healing in PvE from the daly skill "fighter's regeneration" (name can be not correct) is good. But in PvP thise skill for tanky GFs is useless. Now I just have no healing in PvP.
I have tanky GF but when I look at around Palladins I understand that I can't be like them. They can do tanking vs 3-4 players in PvP becourse of high defense, a lot of shields and very high healing.
So, let's move on to the concrete proposals:
1)Could you chenge effect of GF's dayly skill "fighter's regeneration" in PvP?
For example to the healing calculated from damage could you add to thise skill also healing +-30% of max GF's health per some time?
It should be great deal to all tanky GFs who now have no damage for healing using thise skill.
2)There is a passive skill of GF and GWF "persistent warrior" (name can be not correct). Thise passive skill get 1/2/3/4% max health regeneretion from each enemy kill.
In PvP GF or GWF can't deal enough kills to use thise skill effectively.
Could you chenge effect (or just PvP effect) of thise passive skill to healing per time?
For example 1/2/3/4% of max health healing for 7/6/5/4 seconds?
It should improve thise skill in PvP.
3)One more skill that in my oppinion needs in improoving is GF's skill "iron warrior" (name can be ot correct).
Thise skill also get temporary health. But thise temporary health is scaled from your missing health (in PvP it's near 4000-8000 health when I have +-130000 max health).
Now palladins can get temporary health near thous max health.
So... Full health as a temporary health vs 4000-8000 temporary health... I am not feel my tanky GF as a tank in PvP in module 6.
Also "iron varrior" have high cooldown (near 17 seconds).
Could you get to thise skill healing scaled from max health instead from missed health?
So, thats what should really improve tanking in PvP for GFs.
Ps: DD GFs now have too much damage for thise changes. Mabe that's why thise changes should make DD GFs too strong in PvP. But for tanky GFs it should be very great deal.

I dont'w want to be pesimistic, but dev's made it intensionally to force people to form rainbow party.
If you have DC in party it works perfect.
If you dont have it - you are dead.
In fact in pvp protector is a ****ty choice now. Obviously you can rely somehow on LS, but I fought with such a tank - they had no chance.
So go conqueror, if you like to be a buffbot - go tactician. Protector is DEAD now.
And to be honest. Till people pay for new class (OP) dev's won't change it. Despite fact, that OP is bugged as hell and BiS OP is playing godmode.
In details, your proposals are very good. But they are to lazy even to consider this, not mention of changing in live server.
I heal fine from lifesteal and fighters recovery and even soemtimes with 4+ players hitting me I can get back to full hp. Good dmg makes lifesteal strong and steel defence makes fighters recovery even better
I'm based on high dmg with being able to survive well with lifesteal and using fighters recovery. They both basically turn your dps into healing.

During pvp you can do good dps as a gf and since 99% of our dmg is burst we can get high heals from lifesteal. When surrounded you can lift guard to absorb all the enemies heavy hits and gain your ap, then use fighters recovery when the enemies have wasted there powers and kill them 1by 1, going for weakest first to make sure your fighitng less people.
Also if your guard is low you can always get a tide of iron or 2 off and get your guard meter maxed again. Having both arti off hand and main hand for stamina is great. Main hand for tide of iron extra stamina gain and off hand increasing shield talents max stamina.
Good setup for this play-style is having anvil of doom, bull charge and usually into the frey. Into the frey gives you very high dmg with increased guard meter for survivability and move speed to chase people down. With this use crushing surge and tide of iron for at-wills.
Shield talent and steel defence for class feats with fighters recovery as your main daily, second is optional.
You can also change into the frey for a full dps/cc power if you need to but into the frey will be best for most situations. The other power I might go with is flourish mostly to fight against rogues since it works so well against them. Lunge is also good.
This setupd is great for pvp though. I can sometimes hold a node against more than 5 players and kill them off. Of course this can be hard since we can be cc'd behined guard so you need to be good at aiming your shield at the enemies trying to cc you and timing it well.
Btw steel defence doesn't activate if you get cc'd as you use a daily so try to time it well. That can be very annoying
