So, the way I understand empowerment is If I use a power in divine mode, i add to the empowerment of that particular power. Reading some posts and such, i am thinking I have had this wrong all along, and how it works is using a power in divine mode adds a stack of empowerment, and once I am fully empowered, the next non divine mode power i use is fully empowered.
It sounds to good to be true, and i assume i need to use Astral shield 3 times in divine mode to get a fully empowered use of AS... so is this how it works or do i have an major D'oh! coming my way.
That said, maybe I am missing a nuance that is being noted and the empowered lasts much longer, so that I can hit divine Bast 2 times, swap back to a normal other power, do a divine as and divine bast to get a fully empowered Bast, so that emopwerment can stack on multiple powers and lasts what longer than the little blue motes graphic.
punishing light (devine mode from at will) ignores DR 10% per stack, thought I read it somewhere?
so its some kind of empowered at will related to stacks

Ive never seen anything regarding punishing light having a debuff. Maybe the reference was meant to be to searing light which provides a 10% debuff when empowered.

i.e. Build with any divine, expend with any non-divine. Not separate stacks for each power.
For example: cast 3 divine Healing Words and then spend the 3 stacks of empowerment in casting one non-divine Astral Shield.

It was a brain typo kind of thing obviously since at-wills don't use empowerment. I changed it so no one does anything bad.
