Anyone done a Race Re-Roll on a toon with old face model?

I read in the description that "...Your character's appearance will be preserved if a different race is not chosen..."
Anybody know- will this hold true for an old face model? Or will I have to look like a new NW mannequin.... Currently my character looks old... really old. Very defined age lines. (Wrinkles if you must). Aged look is not as 'aged looking' with the new models that appearance was changed to last year. Silly vanity/ or whatever- but I just really do not want his face to change.

Does anyone have a definite answer to this per first hand experience before I blow the zing on a race-roll and try it?

    You can not use the token and keep your old pre mod 4 face. You will be changed to the newer standard even if you don't intend to make any appearance changes.

    The text is outdated. They had intended to allow you to keep old faces, but could not make it work.

    Well... f*** all anyway. Disappointing. Thanks for the solid reply. Guess I'll have to make do as close as I can.

    Yup, I can't optimize my didn't-know-any-better stat rolls and keep my beautiful faces, so the imperfect stats will have to stay.

    That's ok. Cryptic didn't really want my money anyway.

    Aw <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>, just PMed Zeb on how to do this, as he posted it was possible to keep same appearance and still change ability rolls. Guess it isn't possible.

    I absolutely hate the new faces. too plastic/anime looking for my liking. original faces were way better.

    As long as you don't change your race in the process, when you get to the point where you can change your appearance, it will remain how you had it. This is of course unless you have an OLD face and skin model, in which case it will use the new models for that choice.

    As long as you don't commit to the changes, you can cancel back out to the character select screen and not have anything changed.

    The text is not outdated, it is still quite relevant for characters using the current models. The only thing is that the old face and skin models will use the new face and skin models for those models.
