I was wondering First if anyone knows if there are any FAQs out about the console transferring of characters? Will this be like some mmo systems out there where we have a double login in order to port our characters over because we already have PC game accounts? I seriously can't find anything online about that am I missing something?
My other question is a bit more direct. What do console gamers think about the Pay to Progress aspects of this game so far like enchanting for example? Has anyone even looked at that or did the beta not last long enough for anyone to see that content and find out?
1) afaik there's no character transferring or ability to interact with the other platform
2) They probably don't notice with the zen store being free for beta testing.

You are missing the fact that not only there will be different servers, but different *versions* too. Even if they allowed the porting of characters on the business side, something that I can't see happening, it would be technically unfeasible (or at least unwise to even try).
Yeah, I'd assumed that XBOX players would be playing alongside us on the same server but it seems that this is not possible due to XBOX network structure/rules. In any case, the XBOX version will not be aligned with the PC version, at least to start with. I think they will start with Mod4. So, no, you can't transfer toons between the two versions.
I'm curious how the Refining Interface/Process is going to translate to the console experience. I'm curious if the Console group is going to be cool with the process/time involved.

Well I finally got the chance to watch a few beta tests and I have to say that it's very very sneaky of them on what they are doing right now with the store.
I know it's a beta yes but I think it's not very honest to not include all of the items in the store in the testing phase so that players can see just what they are getting themselves into when they play this game. Compared to the PC store I was amazed at the sheer number of things left out of the store when players who were testing it loaded the store in beta. They kept saying that it wasn't going to be pay to progress however that's not been my experience here in the PC version especially when it comes to enchants!
Here's to hoping however that the console market, that typically has more control over such developments, requires this change in the shoppe so that we won't be seeing that kind of thing in the console version.
I am also curious about whether or not purchases for things we've made on the PC version will translate over to the console (not items but classes races mounts as well as founders packs).

the players that are cool with it will stick around. the players that aren't will leave the game. Just like on the PC. Not sure the different platform will make any difference at all. I'm sure a ton of people were fed up with the refining experience and have left the PC version but yet it still thrives.

You don't need to spend any money to progress. Getting an enchant to max level is not required for anything in the game. Experiencing every last drop of content is free. Being the best at something, or having everything right now instead of working for it can get VERY expensive, but it isn't necessary. Also, thanks to the AD/Zen exchange, you don't even have to spend money to get cash shop items. Other people have to spend money, but without people buying Zen, there'd be no game.

There will be no character transfers and its been strongly hinted at that there will be no purchase transfers. Think of other games that have a PC and an XB1 version. Purchases in Steam don't transfer over into the MS store, so don't expect Neverwinter to break the mold and be a trailblazer. The game has to make money.. don't forget that. Additional founders packs and races / mounts, etc is a way to enable the publisher to make porting to XB1 financially viable.

They explicitly stated that there will be no transferring, or cross-play, from the PC Servers to the XBOX Live Servers. They did note later though that such things are always possible, just not something they have any plans to do at this time.
Alas, I am closing this as we do not allow Pay to Win discussions, which half of your original post is about.
