Recording gameplay?

Hey all, my awesome powers of searching the internet are failing me right now. I'm wondering if there is information on whether the closed beta has an NDA on it, if we can record and upload footage to YouTube, and if we can monetize said footage. Thanks in advance!

    There is no NDA on the closed beta at all. Feel free to record, stream, share, anything all you want.

    There is no NDA on the beta. I'm twitching all of my gameplay and asked about NDA...

    P.S. is it also ok to monetize the video on YouTube?

    I'm pretty sure that monetizing on anything you don't have a license to is not ok, including Youtube and the like.

    Yea that's right unless you're given permission. Some companies have it written out telling you if it's ok or not I just can't find that all important snippet of information for NW :(

    This means that without our prior permission, you are not allowed to license your work based on our content to someone else for a fee, or any other form of compensation.

    The only exceptions that do not require prior permission are:

    -YouTube Partner Programs

    Anyone else not able to get into the beta? I keep getting the message server unavailable at this time. Also I can't post new threads for some reason.

    1 - The beta starts at 10AM tomorrow dude, read the email or any news article on it.

    2 - At the top of the Forums, you'll see an explanation why you can't make new threads. You have to manually clear the message.

    sorry dude, but this was straight from my email so I was going by this. "The Play button will be enabled when the Closed Beta goes live on February 5th at 10AM Pacific. For instructions on how to redeem your Closed Beta Key, click on the Learn More button below."

    Sorry for being a little bit back slow but this means as long as people don't have to pay to view the videos its ok to put it on YouTube?
    Also means I can monetize it?

    yes. Or Break. Or WorldStar Hip Hop. You cannot make a video and sell it to someone else to publish on youtube though.

    yes, so long as the ads don't interfere with the video, the commentary isn't racist, profane, etc.
