Lurker's Assault says "lurk through the shadows". What does that mean? I've been reading the forums, and it USED to mean stealth for 10 seconds. I've been testing it. I cannot get it to stealth for me. Does nothing, but refill my stealth meter.
I just came back to this game, and now I'm remembering why I left. NOTHING WORKS AS ADVERTISED!
I left because half my abilities, powers, feats, armor sets, weapons, etc., didn't work as advertised. Made me very angry. Is this still the case?
I've read it dozens of times. It's incredibly vague, and lacks details:
Lurk through the shadows, adding 15% damage and your Stealth meter regenerates very quickly in this state, allowing you to remain Stealthed for much longer. If you are targeting a foe, teleport to them.
So I interpreted "Lurk through the shadows" wrong. It would be nice if it said "REQUIRES YOU ALREADY BE IN STEALTH". That would have been very very helpful.
So, if i'm not in stealth, all this does is regen my stealth bar. I have a feeling that once I can finally get into stealth, the +damage buff will have already expired.
Another question:
Says adds 15% damage, but doesn't say how long. Any idea?
Sorry for the frustration, i'm having a hard time figuring out what things actually do. Even when testing, it's not always clear.
"Lurk through the shadows" is a pure flavour unless it's a description of the Daily visual effect. Yes, it's refills Stealth meter over time. If you are not in stealth, Lurker Assault won't enter you in that state, but still would provide Stealth regen. And, in case if you don't know (or missed) there was a fix, that cause stealth loss upon dealing damage i.e. any attacks from stealth reduce it's duration more rapidly according to dealt damage. Buffs applies as long as Daily is active. If buff duration is unmentioned that means it's identical to a duration of parent effect. But sometimes there are internal cooldowns that are not in descriptions, but you can find them in wiki.
If you have problems with refilling stealth I can suggest you to use Shadow Strike encounter or One with Shadow paragon feat. Also I witness several time a glitch when my character was in stealth, yet UI didn't reflect this. I believe this happens when Lurker Assault regeneration interferes with Stealth loss on low values.
Yes, some items/abilities has misleading description but so far I know only like... 3 or 4 occasion. For example Elven Battle Enchantment doesn't grant 200% of it's effect, or Shadow of Demise paragon feat doesn't work as it should. But it usually clarified in wiki.
UPD: Some encounter does break your Stealth, other doesn't. It's usually indicated in description. As far as I remember Bait&Switch, Shadow Strike and Vengeful Pursuit (first usage) doesn't break your stealth. At-Wills also dosen't break your stealth, but drains your stealth meter according to dealt damage.
It claims a lot of the mounts you can buy with zen are account wide.
I'm not sure what you mean by "account wide", but I bought Stormraider Clydesdale during winter sales, and claim it with two of my characters. For second one I loged in with my another character and opened Zen Market and this mount was listed as "Free".

deft strike, dazing strike, lashing blade in a manner of 2 seconds then finish them off with duelist flurry all on a executioner build is nice mixed with first strike class feature
I paid $25 and bought one. It is NOT account wide.
If you bought it in the zen store, not the AH, it most certainly will be account wide. This does not mean you can claim it and trade it to your alts. Zen mounts are Bind on pickup. Instead you need to claim the mount from the zen store for each character you want it on. After purchase you will see the price listed in the store will have changed to free. And will remain so for the life of the account.

While stealthed, if you activate Lurker's Assault... will using an encounter power still cancel your stealth? All you can do is use at-wills?
Thanks
