I cant seem to find anymore info on the new surprises and what not , so am skeptical at this point - I will cry if there is more artifact refining

Probably more info will be released sometime this month. Mod 6 is being planned but no real details are released about it other than it will be big.

There's been no confirmation, it's just whispered rumours which I generally don't tend to believe. However, rumour has it that mod 6 will be an overhaul of PvP and a PvP-orientated module, and unless drow gear is released in the duration of this module, I would expect it to be released in mod 6. I know a lot of people are calling the mod 6 "make or break time," and sadly I can understand for a lot of players.

Considering how small the pvp playerbase is, compared to the pve playerbase, and how broken tiamat has made pve. I think if they did make it a pvp module, it would be break time for a substantial number of players, perhaps even game killing numbers.

Uhm no. During the AMA Reddit the dev specifically stated that there will be no major PVP additions, only that the upcoming changes will affect both PVE and PVP gameplay (dual spec?).

I think they might rework the queue system, bring new gear and maybe extend the PVP campaign. I wouldn't hope for much more tbh...

Aye, as I said, "hearsay." Nothing more. I don't believe everything I hear, trust me. I just hope, whatever they do next mod, they don't ruin the game anymore.

How many artifacts don't have a 3-set bonus along with artifact belt and artifact cloak?
Artifact Rings could happen or at least more choice of rings with a 500-stat total and 2 slots.
Armor Sets with higher stat totals similar to Draconic Templar, but with different stat destribution and
    set boni.
Drow set will come. A new lockbox - a new mount - new companions - new artifacts.
Probably another generic Campaign. (On preview M4 campaign had the layout of M3 campaign first, similar things occured before. So campaigns will continue in the same fashion im completely sold on that.)
Since Tiamat is banished. We could continue the storyline with Valindra.
She still has her Phylakterion and her retreat that is yet to be found and destroyed.
Im sure a concept is in the works. Im also sure that no community idea unless you get like 20k upvotes/likes/voices,
    would even be considered.
So far future modules have been announced quite early. This is not the case now.
    Here are some ideas why:
The module has to be coordinated with Wizards of the Coast.
The module is still in a very early phase.
It should be more suprising, something spectacular is involved.
PWE is not planning to release new content as of now (business decision).

The mods made clear with the addition of OpenPvP that this is the limit, between PvP and PvE.
They introduced gear specific for PvP. Nobody is forced to play PvP so something that includes both is highly unlikely.
Btw Hybrid chars are fun and all, but the most successfull in PvP and PvE are the ones the specialize into one, there are no Jack-of-all-trades (and if they are just average in both sections.)

I also have things in mind that I want to come with Mod 6, but let's be realistic that won't happen in any fashion.

Artifact rings, artifact armor, artifact shirts & pants. More dailies, some heroic encounters....

Mod 6 or 7 is likely to tie into "Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil" which is the next story arc for WotC. Likely to see 4 lair/dungeons for each evil element, completing each will be necessary to open the final heroic encounter which will likely be an encounter with Jubilex, Lord of Oozing.

The start of Epic Destinies is coming soon as well as the level increase on the road to level 90. The original plan was to have levels for the 1-30 planned for in 4th edition. NW 1-30, represented levels 1-10 of 4th Ed. The Heroic Levels, NW 31-60, represented levels 11-20 of 4th Ed. Epic Levels, NW 61-90, would represent 21-30 of 4th Ed. And while the Heroic Paths and Character Paths are "narrow" choices. Epic Destinies are a bit more "broad" stroke in there effects upon a character. Generally each ED gives one pretty big ability at the end at level 30, one semi-decent ability mid-way usually around level 25 sometimes 26. Some passive benefits from the choice at 21.

I wish they would include more quest chains and a REAL story line instead of just a node for more "missions" I just wish there was a little more exploring and discovery involved

That's why I'm so intrigued when I look around Vellosk. Here's just one example: the Gray Wolf Battle Camp has, around the perimeter, loads of sealed Netheril ruins. It's far-enough removed that they must refer to an entirely different complex than Grey Wolf Den (which also hints at lots of unexplored areas). If you look around the battle camp, there are ground-level entrances to the ruins as well as a bridge that leads up to the second tier of those ruins. The bridge doesn't appear to have any collision (I've tried to jump onto it), but nonetheless it hints that there is an enormous unexplored area in those mountains. Who knows how far into (and below) the mountains the Netherese delved? Did they even encounter things that they wished they hadn't? Could that be why some of those ruins are so tightly sealed?

One thing I put in my Foundry (although it got some complaints) was the need to explore: the sparkly path, by design, does NOT show you everything you need. How can a dungeon possibly be "creepy" if you've got a GPS telling you where to go? It makes no sense to me. I also added areas that aren't at all necessary to the story but make sense from the standpoint of whoever built the place (which might not necessarily be those who are currently occupying it -- hint, hint!) I only wish I could have made it more extensive, but asset budgets and the desire for people to speed-run everything kept it to where it is. If Cryptic adds more dungeons, I really hope they put on their dungeon-delving caps and focus a lot more on exploration and creepiness.

Dungeons should be, first and foremost, SCARY. You shouldn't know what's around the corner, as it shouldn't be predictable. A good DM will change things in a module to keep things fresh for his PnP group; likewise, an NWO dungeon should always be unpredictable, and ideally, require some level of re-exploration every time you enter.

One thing I kept thinking of when building my Foundry was the first time I ever played Doom 3. You'd go into a dark area, with all kinds of creepy, even disturbing surroundings, ominous noises, and yet you HAD to proceed (picture yourself thinking in a scared whimper, "but I don't WANNA go in there!"). I would play Doom 3 at night with the lights off just to heighten the mood. That's how scary NWO dungeons should be!

After mod5 there has to be a mod6.
Hopefully it will be full of content this time, with a campaign more like the SC2 campaigns with a huge number of unique, different missions/quests (unlike what we saw in mod2, mod3, mod4, mod5, three same NPCs giving three same quests that we have to complete two hundreds times). The raw material is all available here in DnD 4e, all they have to to do is to translate it into pixels and musics.
Oh yes, music. Hopefully mod6 will have its own music this time, not a reuse of Dread ring.

Dual spec means: One can spec for PvP with one spec and PvE with second, then switch bewteen said specs in a single click. Hybrid-specs is something completely different.

    dual spec will never come.
interchangeable power bar and gear is more likely.

First Free Expansion Coming August 22 2013 - Mod 1
    Live on December 5, 2013 - Mod 2
PVP sets around this date Feb 25, 2014
    May 13th, 2014 - module 3
    August 14, 2014 - module 4
    November 18, December 5th 2014 - module 5

    Module 6 - around April-May , Drow set around january-february.

to put it in another words, the content is probably finishied on DEV server, they need to make the teaser for mod 6 that will be released in this month, January.

no level increase and that will never be, maybe after mod 10.

a new campaign probably, but it wont have dailies. it will have something different, a new feature that will probably affect both PVE and PVP, so the only feature is to get 1 special power out of 10 for example.
either way i dont really care so much about PVE part
    but
a matchmaking system , with a lobby system.
no more kicking in pvp, a surrender button.
    a pvp tournament
and finally some of the community manager will try to make a PVP community and keep in touch with us.

    but it wont happen.

Noticeably from Mod 1 thru 5, each module came in about 3 months. Why would it take half a year for Module 6 to come?

Anyway, continuing the roughly 3 months gap between modules, Module 6 would have to come between mid and the end of February. However, considering there is nothing on the preview server and not even an official word from Cryptic, this is not going to happen, no where close...

just saying, i dont think we can call mod 5 a mod.
mod4-5 were basically a single mod released in 2 parts but im quite sure that mod 5 was ready with mod 4.

the reason no info is given beforehand, as has been stated in STO & CO, is that players take it , as thats exactly what will happen', even if it as listed as possibly or we'd like to.
They then b itch and complain if it doesn't turn up exactly as the player thought it should.

So now, you get told when something specific is finalized and managed to be put together.

noticeably from mod 2 to mod 3 , it took more than 3 months.
    december,january,february,march,april and MAY 13th mod3
so if they said mod6 is as big as mod3 if not bigger, thats probably the date when they release.
and they said that they will release a teaser about mod 6 around january.
and for mod3 the first trailer was released on "Published on Mar 4, 2014" around march, leaving us with around 1 early month to get the mod 6. so it will be probably in April 13th
but who knows we might get half of it in february. understand?

either way the content is already made, all they need to do is not releasing it with problems, but how we know they do things they will leave alot of broken things.
oh well. i wonder what the theme will be about.

Should there be at least a name, story line and some concept arts for the module?

There are things game developers will release without the fear of being attacked by angry mobs with pitch fork and torch even if they may not be able to deliver later... but somehow there is not even a name given for Module 6... that's kind of peculiar...

Thanks Everyone so far for the idea's/possibilities they may bring to us. I am personally looking forward to it - The news, the name who and what is involved, all those sorts of things......
The consistent releasing of new content keeps me playing. There are lots of things us players would like worked on "as current state static elements" but I think I can look past some of the problems/adapt and venture on.

Having no idea what its going to be is actually pretty fun and suspenseful. I hope they can thrill us with thier new content
