I love my summoned companions and my personal favorite is still the Fawn of Shiallia. I created a new DC, bought a Small Stag from the Trade Bar merchant and upped it to Epic Rank III, then pulled my last Fawn of Shiallia from my bank (I grind-fished for three last year) and decided to rank it up to epic.
So I'm sharing the "improvement" stats for anyone who is curious.
As a Anointed Champion Faithful Cleric I love the Fawn because it's one of the ridiculous few than can also heal allies, so I have mine decked-out for end-game (and it's awesome in HEs and Dragon fights - so long as Dragonbreath doesn't get it:

Winter Festival is coming this week and it's my favorite. I dunno that I'll grind for more Fawns (they're *still* available in the AH LOL) - but for anyone who hasn't experienced the Winter Festival last year, you're in for a treat. If you're a Cleric or still leveling a squishy class and want a healing companion the Fawn is a sure bet.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share.
UPDATES by request:
How did I take a screenshot like that? I used Demo Record tool, which you already have as it's built into the game. Take a free User Guide from my signature below.
Also by request I've added the full stats sheet in this post (below #15):

Thanks
That's just wonderful...
It's still at rank 25, but I will update the OP when I have it at 30 and show all the skins.
Thank you.
I used Demo Record, with a FOV (Field of View) set to 10. The picture was taken in Ebon Downs which is why the colors are so warm. For anyone curious: the Fashion Outfit is the "Icewind Merchant" set.
I will SO attend the event just for this cute little thing T^T
Thank you so much for sharing it Angrysprite, you are stacking kudos on my personal list
And congratulations \o/
Really? Did they change the AI? I stopped using my fawns because they aggroed mobs, dropped circles in useless locations, and found 6k+ regen surprisingly unhelpful.
edit: It has been several months since I summoned one. Maybe the AI received a ninja-buff.
That's closer to my experiences. I've been regularly using the Fawn with my archer HR since last winter festival. She does get agro. Against dragons I regularly see her flying through the air after getting into melee range and being hit by the large circular AoE around the dragon. She's persistent though, straight back up and into the fight, surviving thanks to fox's cunning dodge. Not really where I'd want her to be positioned though.
I don't know how the AI is designed to work, perhaps she's trying to drop circles for the other players in melee range.
My little Fawn has the Ghost necklace, and both Ghost Rings that I got when I bought the Epic Ghost pack. But more importantly he has three Rank 9 Rune Stones - his HP is almost 20,000 HP. (Yes. Really.) LOL
Dragons are no problem at all, unless he gets caught in their breath-blast. The Runes and gear also have his power and regeneration cranked-up so he drops a healing circle a bit more often. The best part: He doesn't keep bringing up the subject of leeches.
One of the cutest pics i've ever seen in awhile in this game.
How did u get to take it that way? ur cleric looks as a cleric should look
What are the other stats out of interest? I've spend a good amount on gearing up companions since I'm also less into min-maxing with augments.
I had a look at my fawn this morning and she has ~1100 regen, ~1000 defense and ~450 power. I've not geared her to the extent you have, I think I've only got rank 5 or 6 runes and enchants and have used the blue regen rings, noble beast I think from memory. I'm not familiar with the ghost jewellery.
Right now, if you want to talk efficiency, the state of PVE does not rely on survivability one bit. DPS and companions that provide you dps buffs are the way to go.
I see this as a novelty item
I use Demo Record - which is built into the game client. if you want to take screenshots like that, grab my free Demo Record User Guide - the link is in my signature, it's free. It will show you step-by-step how to do this stuff. It's the best-kept secret of Cryptic Studios games.
The Ghost Gear is Companion-Specific gear (players cannot equip them) and it comes in the Special Epic packs that go on sale in the Z-Store every once in a while. I will take a screenshot of the full stats tab and update the OP with to include it this evening.
UPDATE: Here:
It is, more or less. But there are times during Dragon fights I see people jumping into the healing circle. It's not needed to be sure, but if it's there people will still use it. Any summoned companion is a novelty. They aren't always that useful (though they can be life-savers every once in a while). It's about *theme*. As you can see in my picture, my Cleric is a Moon Elf, riding a small forest stag, followed by a spirit-fawn.
It's all about the look.
And below shows her stats! Combined with the bell of Lliara (or however it's spelt), she is extremely hard to kill.
And here is my HR with the rank 30 skin visible! The fawn summons flowers near her feet wherever she walks at rank 30 XD.
That's awesome, thanks for sharing (Lots of bells)! I agree that the Fawn is a far better companion than many people give it credit for. I have a LOT of them, it's still my favorite. Having flowers sprout as he (she?) walks will make a nice touch. It took me a while to figure out why it always glows that greenish coler - until I read the full description again. (It's a Celestial Spirit).
For those of you who weren't here for the first Winter Event: you may want to consider going for this one, it's not difficult (a little bit of a grind, I'll admit). Yeah, it's also in the AH if you have the AD and are impatient. LOL
//Can't wait to run the Slalom race on my Epic Rank III Small Forest Stag!
Best part of the event! Oh, I love Simril. Hurry up, 18th!
