IV only sadly. Trample the Fallen is the only useful feature for pvp.

And flourish will remain as HAMSTER for pvp with it's slow speed.

Bull Charge -> Cresendo -> Flurish -> 2x Crushing Surge -> Anvil of Doom (most pugs die, even top HR feal that combo)

    Without Cresendo:

Bull Charge -> Flurish -> 2x Crushing Surge -> Anvil of Doom

Ps. When u use flurish at start of dodge of TR whose going stealth, after dodge he will get stuned and get out of it. Need some practice. You can use slow activation to your advanage.

Since front line surge nerf. Sword master is a good option flourish can do a sexy damage if you have a good crit chance and plaguefire. Is true flourish no is easy for use but remember enemies can take damage too when dodge. My cicle is griffon-flourish-anvil. Only when have and decent dc on party i change flourish to kvalor. Sorry my bad english xd

    Mine is Lunge-flourish-anvil

I need to close on the Magic users and archers with Lunge

It works till I get stunned

    Ho do I avoid that?

The only way to avoid getting stunned (in theory atleast) is knowing when to guard, anticipating enemies encounters, but mainly knowing what those encounters are/do, what there animations look like and a rough estimate of the cooldown times. With enough combat you learn all these things, but it does take a good amount of practice.

And to answer to the main question whether SM or IV it is truly a personal choice both have there pros and cons. I personally am SM but in my opinion the only way to pull off SM successfully is having a good amount of guard and also having a decent amount of movement to compensate for not having Threatening Rush

Both are just s good as each other really. It just depends on your style and favorite skills. I myself prefer sordmaster, mainly because of crescendo nd its ablitity to lock down ranged classes and set them up for a full rotation.

Iron vanguards frontline used to be amazing but the nerf was hard on that, it still has its uses but now iron vangurd is good mainly because of ferocious reaction, trample the fallen. The main reason I would say though is threatning rush, that is very good :)

My main setup is Bull charge - anvil - lunge with crescendo, shield talent and combat superiority.

Lunging strike is amazing vs most classes and if used right it can be deadly for many reasons but usually in a 1v1 with a class like gwf or gf it would be better to use a different skill. Griffons wrath when fighting another gf for sure.
