Id say so i thought it was my net i had the mother of all lag spikes going on when i was trying to kill charthraxis just then logged out now the launcher is being a snail to load had this earlier as well.
"We will be performing shard maintenance on September 19 from 07:00-09:30 AM Pacific time (1200-1330 UTC)."
A bit sad to see that they started just 15 minutes ago at 14.00 UTC, instead of the promised 12.00 UTC. Try to plan my crafting around downtime, but that's impossible if they can't keep their own schedule.

About 15 minutes ago was the scheduled 7am pacific. Perhaps someone just miscalculated the time difference?
*7am is the time they announced 12 hours ago (twitter), after they decided against bringing the servers down at 8pm yesterday.*
I haven't been able to play for 2 days... I go to work come home try to play server is down. Go to sleep server is down. Go back to work, come home server is down. I am GETTING REALLY ANGRY.
Wow, if that's the case then I dread the quality of this (or any) patch. If even time conversion seems to be too hard for the people at PWE.....
I wouldn't worry about that. Stuff happens. Besides I don't think whoever is doing the work on the patch would be the same one making posts and such. They have community managers and such for that I'm sure.

Time conversion clearly is too hard for someone there as the UTC listed time is wrong often enough than whenever it is right I assume it's because "even a stopped clock is right twice a day".
However, I don't assume it to be a reflection of the quality of code in the game - for better or worse.

The servers are down for Maintenance as announced last night. 7 AM Pacific is 2 PM GMT.
Sorry but anybody who knows me personally has heard me rant about how much I hate converting in respect to Daylight Savings Time so I do not know the conversions for UTC or even if we're in PST or PDT. I can, however, assure you maintenance was schedules to begin 30 minutes ago and will hopefully be back up within an hour and a half if all goes smoothly.

I'm patching now and it looks like a 4156mb patch to fix a tyranny of dragon campaign progression bug.
Hopefully they are addressing the lag/server not responding/disconnecting issues as well.

Wife and kids not home for 2 hours, and bummer well ...
See you laters
