I got the Feat that makes the Soul Puppet permanent but it's not permament as it's supposed to be. There's the countdown in the upper left corner that changes from 1 to 0 sec. but the Puppet isn't there. It doesn't appear at all when I go to The Chasm. If I enter The Chasm with the Puppet and the companion, the Puppet stays for a while, then suddenly disappears and never returns. So far this is the only map I noticed the Puppet doesn't appear at all when I deal damage or disappears at some point.
Unfortunately I have no idea what's causing it to disappear/not to appear, otherwise I would provide more details about it.

Oh, it's the standard pathing/traversing problems that affect companions too, I think. After a while, people learn only to use augment pets, as other companions are just a liability; they don't work very well.
I have severe doubts about the viability of the perma-puppet. Dungeon groups, in particular, might find it a pain- trying to walk past groups of mobs without it aggroing them, or getting stuck etc. Either it's going to be the unloved and unwanted spec, or it's going to force the devs to fix many long-standing bugs. Which option would you bet on?

I've never had a single problem with summoned companions in Chasm, so I'm not at all clear on what you;re referring to. As for the OP scenario described: I'd call this a bug of the most high.

I am quite aware of the fact that the chasm is not a dungeon, nor did I claim that it was. You clearly didn't read my post properly.
