  Did it twice to me, I allowed it to check files and it worked first time after that.

  I can't even get to a character creation screen on Mimic.

  Yup I crash still just like last patch. Last i heard it was AMD problems.

  I pass the cryptic loading screen, reach the neverwinter loading screen where all the partners etc. are listed, and seemingly just about when it would reach the character selection the screen goes black.
  
  I get the neverwinter client crash pop-up and option to submit an error ticket, as well as a fatal error from my video card.

  Can we PLEASE get a dev response about this? Preview has been crashing for lots of people not just this patch but last one before. I know they have to know this is still happening to lots of players. So much change is coming to the game with "reworks" and the new warlock and we can't test a thing with this constant crashing.

  True, I wasn't even thinking about the long term implication -- if M4 goes live like this I won't be able to play the game.

  One of the crashes seems to affect anyone using an AMD 8xxx CPU. The client will crash to desktop when trying to load any character.
