I was only trying to be humorous about them saying that they would be revealing the information about the CTA next week when it's already been out there for over a month what we will see in the CTA.

would be cool to see them add something new to it besides the norm.. I wasn't intending for it to be negative :). If seemed that way, sorryz

take another look at that companion: its one of the best they've ever released

Active Bonus boosts your HP (edit: turns out i was wrong bout this, it boost incoming healing, which is almost as good), and it heals not just you but your Party as well

Plus, the dye kit has yellow in it, (I like the more vivid colors)!

I'm anxious to see what the weapons look like, too - I hope the turtle shell shield is in there.

The fact that the companion has an AoE heal and boosts your HP will make this one of the best, (as asmodeus451 pointed out). I just hope it's not on too long of a timer, and heals for a decent amount.

Not sure if it's good as I don't know what does "Incoming healing bonus" imply. Pots? Artifacts?Regeneration?

Or just the heals you get from cleric?

I just hope it won't be nerfed like it happened last CTA. Just release this skirmish as it is, it's fine and no way too difficult, only needs a bit of strategy.
Honestly, I did the last CTA 5 times, then I was bored of it. I could stand in red nonstop as a CW, guess it's understandable that a skirmish which needs abolutely no skill is boring. ;)

I don't think the other CTAs were "nerfed" inasmuch as taking a bunch of level capped players with epic gear and pitting them against something meant for level 40-somethings, (even with the scaling monster tech), lessens the difficulty...

Sorry to disagree, but it was. There were less adds, and only 1 instead of 3 giants at the end. And Battle for the bridge is a lvl 60 (well, actually lvl 54-60) skirmish...
But in the first place my point is that I like a challenge, and I don't think that I'm the only one who does. Nobody has to do the CTAs, and after the big nerf on the last one, an actual challenge for this one would only be fair, so both sides got something for them.

    1. The last CTA "Capture the bridge" IIRC.. when i ran it at level before the CTA, there were 3 giants and more adds that spawned more frequently. (did they revise it back to the original with the extra giants and adds? Haven't ran it since then)

    2. Skirmishes Scale to level

    3. And now that more level 60's are in IWD/DV are getting more powerful gear stat wise, which I have noticed are based more on recovery, defense, deflection, etc... the following CTA will be easier, (If IWD / DV has honed more players about overwhelming damage that can take you out b4 you realize it) and players will pay more attention to strategy and find it easier to do the CTA skirmishes.

    4. Now for at or below 60 players new or leveling alts, I can understand that yes it can be difficult at times. It was the one Skirmish I found myself avoiding anytime I was leveling an alt or 2nd account.

SO I do hope that they leave it the same or even give us a challenge this time.. Capture the bridge was to easy becuz of the nerf. (which i found myself many times tanking the bosses easily on my hybrid HR).

It just goes to show that yes there are 2 sides to this and wondering what they plan on doing with this CTA.

+2% HPs at green. Purple level becomes either +6% or +10%. Both are OP. kudos to Cryptic to catching and fixing that before going live.

GtV was one of the best scirms in the game. Hope they keep it the same with level buff. Would be an interesting fight.

As for the companion it's now bonus incoming healing :( - but I think that's a knee-jerk to companion upgrades.

    38,000 @102% = 760 gained HP (A Radiant Rank 7, nearly)

    38,000 @ 106% = 2280 (2 x Radiant Rank 10, more than)

The effective HP is around the same, as Regen & Lifesteal contribute, there isn't an indomitable hp pool though as it would grant compound bonuses to both hp and regen.

It's multi level in CTA's, of course it's tweaked down.

All these calls to leave it as it is now is ridiculous, there has to be some common ground.

If you are in a group of well geared level 60 players who have experience with the skirmishes, the CTAs will of course seem pretty easy to complete.

Anyone who are asking for more challenging CTAs or asking the CTAs' difficulty not to be adjusted, go PUG or form a group with level 6 -10 players. I am sure you will find it fun and challenging then. :)

This CTA come out early? Or is the skirmish available, just without the MoB until June 5th? I ran this once last night, and the rewards weren't anything worth mentioning at all.
    Where'd my blinky-blinky path go?

All CTA events are based off skirmishes you can access normally at the appropriate level.
