So... are we getting a new Villain?

I don't really follow the D&D stuff or pay that much attention to the storyline, I've been playing since this game came out but it's my first MMO (And last).


Not sure if Valindra is done for in that cinematic in VT... I wonder who the new Villain will be? If Valindra is actually gone.

    I think Valindra is gone for now. We didn't destroy her phylactery but I think they want to move on from her at the moment. We killed Fulminorax in module 1, then we beat valindra in module 2

    Valindra's Essense is safe somewhere in her cozy Phylactery, hoping some astronaut (see if you can remove the thought of Valindra wearing Jeanie's outfit) would open it up so she can wreck havoc on the world again. While most of you are busy fixing up your fancy PVP gear in Icewind....Valindra's followers will be working to restore her and then it all starts again. :eek:

    Now this is strictly hypothetical... but has anyone considered that Valindra might have been working with or maybe even for someone or something else...?

    It would be awesome if an enemy came from the sea(beach) and broke the wall between Neverwinter and the beach, changing the map.

    I wish Valindra was working for someone bigger and stronger, like a Thayan king, and he appeared, and seargent knox was a traitor that was leading the neverwinter army to failure.

    And Neverwinter was completely taken, and everybody had to flee to Icewind Dale. And the new Dungeons are to retake Neverwinter and defeat the Thayan King and Srgt. Knox!

    Valindra isn't defeated and more than the fight in PF stops when you kill the Zulkir the first time. Unless you can destroy the phylactery, she'll just come right back. No one has to free her or whatever. The only real setback she suffers is that you disrupted her ritual.

    Her and her rituals. She needs to lighten up a bit. Maybe if she winged things a bit more, she'd have had more success.

    Already a thing. Valindra is one of Szass Tam's most trusted lieutenants. Knox isn't a traitor, but Szass Tam is pretty much one of the big bads of the entire setting.

    I've already seen a guy that looks pretty much like Knox, doing his job and being a traitor in another game (the one where the "GF" is actually an useful class!!! *pokes the devs* :P), so it would be an unoriginal twist :P

    Besides Knox is just a Sgt. He isnt even an officer. He really isnt in a position to lead any army, for good or bad. He is more of an aide or liaison to the various adventurers and mercenaries in the city.

    If there is anyone in the city with doubious plans. Its Neverember himself.
