CN Draco Challenge: with 1 CW

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd like to share a footage of our CN boss kill, this was our first attempt to complete entire CN with me being the only CW in the party.

Not all members are tip-top geared and I'm not cc heavily specc'd neither (but i'm considering wisp/mage companions for a bit more control bonus in the future). After they nerfed AP gain/recovery/entangling force in this module, I switched to a bit more DPS focused. We were not communicating in any ways for this particular fight, could have gone smoother imo if all were on TS, but it was a mere spontaneous idea for a fun run.

*UPDATE* 06/03/14

Thanks to Chemboy, the man who gives my wizard a new purpose - I recently respecc'd to the Master of Flame build with massive utility and crowld control ability, it feels almost like the old days and I believe this is how a control wizard fullfills her role in a dungeon party, well, ofc thats just my personal opinion and playstyle.

Not much as what I used to have premodule (close to 7k, hit DR hard but was fairly control orientated), now I'm sitting at aroubd 3.5k

Haha Chem i'm sure you did! Here's an idea, hop on your DC we could make a group like that and i will record.
Also we can do that 3 or 4man without healer run again and make it a challenge series

Nice guys! One thing: What I don't get is the "control" advantage MoF is supposed to have over SS. In the end everyone uses the same four encounters for Draco (elite parties can switch to RoE and OF).

Furthermore this MoF vs. SS is a bit exaggerated in my eyes. I run both specs and it's not even a real difference in playstyle. I feel MoF is a bit more flexible in case you need more APs in example, but the overall margin is slim to non-existent in PVE.

MoF has Combustive Action that would boost Action Point gain greatly against add / mob heavy fights and therefore can chain Singularity or Oppressive Force a lot more frequently over SS CWs which translates to more control.

Aside from that, I can't think of any other 'control' advantage MoF has over SS but that one is enough I guess.

It's a playstyle thing - since you don't have to hold your encounters for EotS and don't use sudden storm, you are more free to control as you see fit.

Combustive Action is good in 1CW parties (i used it on this kill), but unnecessary with two.
