I got a response from PWE via email to my bug report that linked me to the homepage of this website and the Neverwinter wiki page. An incredibly frustrating response as it didn't link me to a particular thread or anything, just the homepage and neither did the email offer a solution. At this point I have no reason to login as I cannot progress my x8 level 60 characters in any way. I have plenty of AD so even logging in to do dailies is not really worth the time. I am currently playing other games and everyday my addiction to this particular game fades a little more.
It is amazing to me that the original date on this thread is dated at the end of November on the preview shard, and this is something that has carried over to live without being fixed. I have seen another thread where a dev responded to a similar issue and said it was being looked into, however that was quite some time ago. We can argue the merits of being able to play with certain bugs present, but not being able to play the game in a functional way (since the advancement window doesn't complete a task, SGT knox and others do not acknowledge you have completed and therefore won't give you further quests) makes it hard for me to want to log in. I am basically waiting for the next patch to see if that clears up the issue. If it doesn't, I quit. It just isn't fun to login and play old content that I have done 100s of times already. I can't even play with my guild members because I can't unlock anything in the new content.
Exactly what this guy said. I know its a free game and all. but nonetheless i have put money into it and would like nothing more then to play the content that was said to be playable.
Same issue here except with the Study Thayan Writings in the Dread Ring Campaign but apparently they wont help me because its a gameplay issue? So i came here. Please fix it, three days and no luck - [Incident: 140112-000388].
Please can someone fix this for me?

I am stuck in both the Thaylan Writings and in my sharandar campaign. Would love some help in getting this fixed, as i feel that i cannot advance in the game at all until its done.
I also had a similar problem, I purchased the first boon training task, and now it says 0:00 but I still dont have any points to spend on boons. Any fixes or workaround until its fixed properly would be very helpful
I have a friend who also has this bug. His thayan writing is stuck at 100% completed but it won't collect. His quest says to talk to sgt knox but when he does the npc doesn't do anything. Is this a known issue? What is being done to fix this? Anydahl94 and besi6 have you guys fixed it some how? If so can you tell me how?
I'm not sure how it happened, but it's fixed for me. Ever since the recent patch I've been able to do the tasks again. I suspect it's related to the servers being taken down for maintenance and put up again, but I dont know for sure.

but when since last task, it got stucked, and doesn't leave the screen of "remaining time". I cant cancel or get the reward or anything.
i can click, but if i click start the new task nothing happens.

I am having the same problem for the first time today, never seen it before. I can't unlock last sharandar realm, also Study Thayan Writings, they're both stuck at 00:00. Seeing as bug is old and hasn't been resolved I will stop using real money on this game. Please resolve this ASAP!

I been stuck with 0:00 second on my first day quest
Had this problem before but then it just got randomly fixed. I suspect they just ran some script to clean up the database.
Wait for them to do it again, after all the cryptic motto is if its broken patch it up, don't fix.

This just happened to me yesterday.. "Decipher Thayan Writings" is stuck at 2/24 and 0:00 remaining.
Submitted a ticket.. ridiculous that people have been complaining about this bug since November and it's still out there.

Have now also 2 toons stuck in "Thayan Writings"! :-(
. . .Support Tickets and Bug Reports are not deleted. Bug Reports do not show up in your Support Ticket history because they are Bug Reports. Bug Reports are not responded to, as they are Reports, not Support Tickets. You can view your Support Ticket history here.
Why is then "Request GM help" submited as bug report rather then ticket? Sorry - if I called it wrong.

I play on steam and have just returned to this game as of Sunday Jan. 19th. I brought all 5 of my level 60 characters to the Dread Ring area to quest. On a sunday I thought I should have been able to choose which dungeon I wanted to do and it would only assign me to do the dread spire. After finishing it I turned in the quests and tried to compete the Study Thayan Writings task in the campaign window. It counted down to 0:00 sec left and says it complete but it did not finish. Nor can I complete the New Day quest. It is now tuesday and I still cannot complete the quest and the task is still stuck nor can I start any new daily quests. It would be nice if you could do something to fix this.

Hi, I up this topic because I have the same bug. The task for the campain is block at 0:00 time rest, the worst it is the first one I did for the quest "A new day". So I can't complete the quest and can't take other quest for the new campain.
If some of you found an answer to fix, please help me.

So I have been having this problem as well. I've submitted the in game ticket and such but still no response from PW for the past few days. Getting pretty tired of this.
unable to advance in campaign. Two advancements are stuck at 100% with 0:00 time remaining. Have submitted a couple of tickets and received the automatic reply with no fix or help. Have attached a screenshot that displays the issue.
Ah just posted a bug report about this and noticed this thread.... glad to see its not just me.... I was told its an 'new' unknown issue but obviously its not....

Am I missing something, or is it just broken? This boon is a bit of a big deal, as one of the final aims of mod 2, and I would prefer that it worked.
