I'd like a Mail Box by the lady who has the permanent invoking circle in Protector's Enclave.

There is one halfway between her and Sgt. Knox, how much closer do you want it?

There is one one around the corner between Sgt. Knox and the Involking Circle.

If I remember, it's next to the Guild table.

From the circle, head around the stairs as if you are going to Sgt. Knox. You will see the guild table on your right. The mailbox is just outside of the canopy covering the guild table.

. . . . . I use the mailbox by the Shrine of the Gods all the time. I assure you, there is one there. When facing the Shrine, go to your right and when you see the Guild Banker NPCs, look to the left of them. Renamed subject of this thread accordingly.

I would like a mailbox at least in Module 2. Doesn't Knox ever need to communicate back to Protector's Enclave? I mean it's not a huge deal since when you travel to PE you're only 10 feet away from a mailbox but still.. I really have no other reason to go to PE most of the time.

I also would like to see different mailboxes. Like functional boxes in the outlying zones, particularly. I suspect part of the reason the game designers have the different functions like prayer circles, vendors and courier posts laid out the way they do is to try to some degree to prevent automation and botting activity. you need to actually run back and forth. You need to actually keep coming back to town all the time to do stuff. Wouldn't matter to me if courier boxes were by a pray circle- who cares- I just get tired of having to run back to the enclave all the time.

Portable altars are nice to have as well... if you can afford a little bit of AD.

Potable Altars drop like butterfly's from a Dawn Unicorn's ***, I've got 100's of them if you want some, no need to spend AD.

I would like to see another Mailbox or two near the AH though, as the "Courier" can get a little crowded on occasion.
Also there is a travel gate near the bottom of the Market which doesn't have a Mailbox near it.

They put a postal courier in the Summer Festival grounds... they can add one to the starting area of all zones/modules. My personal take is that they either want to keep traffic in PE, (possibly to keep a market for the teleport scrolls), or they want people to have to go through the timesink of constantly zoning every time they want to check the mail...

I could .. kinda' ... sorta' ... See it from a 'Lore friendly' point of view as to why they don't (they've pulled that particularly sour cherry out before on other issues) But, all in all I agree with what you've said.

How about if they made the "Harpers" or 'Well informed Barmaids" who are in every zone also Mail Couriers?

Either would be fine, but since the dialog from Knox sometimes indicate that they got word from or received messages about an area/person/etc, I don't see why they wouldn't also be visited by mail couriers from time to time. Perhaps they could add a small copper fee to send/receive items from non-PE mailboxes or something...
