Retreat Technique not working as intended?

The feat says you get 1/2/3/4/5% AP back when you shift. Worked fine with 1 point in. I put all 5 in and to get 5 points it took me almost 14 shifts. Is this a bug or am I calculating it wrong?

    Its working as intended you only get back 5 AP but they really should make it 5% each shift

    It says it gives "5" AP, and not "5%" AP. So what I'm imagining is that it gives a flat 0.5% since max AP = 100%. Not sure though, and it may need to be tested. Good thing we have an avid testing community right here. :) Will be trying it out as soon as I get to that level because my HR is still a non-60.

    At rank 5, it does give you 1% per 2 shifts.. which I think is very mediocre for dumping 5 points in.

    I think that the tooltip does mislead people into thinking those are percentages, and quite frankly I think this feat is a waste until they make it something like 0.5%/1%/1.5%/2%/2.5% per shift.

    Combined with seeker Clear the ground swift foot work and Ghost walker if your a ranged hybrid you can shift so many times its not funny even though i wish it did a percentage each shift i under stand why its not.

    I took note of current AP said 22% made 5 shifts and checked again said 23% (with 5/5 in this feat). Will test again.
