Dread ring pack ?

So i don't know about the rest of you, but i'm beginning to wonder when they are going to release a purchasable pack for module 2 as it's getting perty close to new years and still no hint of a wif of it. Does this mean we wont get one till the next module and we should spend our sheclkes on something else ?

    I highly doubt they will pass up on the chance to release a optional purchase pack with Module 2, containing things that a Ranger might enjoy having, with the release of Rangers in the module.

    That's what i thought too, but as new years keeps drawing closer it continues to be inconspicuous, going off their previous pack release time frame with module 1 i'm inclined to think they are skipping it this time:(

    Before Christmas will be the target, if it is to be released. I can't see any logical reason for them not to put one out. The extreme popularity of Rangers coupled with a pack containing items that fit well with Rangers seems like a huge money maker. It wouldn't make sense for them to pass up on that kind of opportunity.

    I'll be happy if there is a nice Greycloak's Bow in my Guardian pack for my ranger to use. ;-)

    But yeah - I'd totally buy a pack comparable to the Feywild one. I can see why they aren't, though - content + class + enchant changes +.... only so much you can do in the hours you have.

    i'd say the new shadowmantle pack will be hitting pretty soon since the go-live date of module 2 is december 5th. with feywild, the pack was available before the module went live, but that also meant that some of the pack content wasn't available until the live date. perhaps they have decided to make it available on or around the drop date.

    ^ this. There were a whole lotta people confused by the fey packs and how you could purches them and then had to wait a month to get any benefit from them.

    I would think they will announce the pack when they release the mod so no one gets confused or upset that they bought something they need to wait to use.

    I'm kinda wondering that assuming they do have a pack what they will have in place of the premium version of a new race. The Founder's/Neverwinter Pack gave the Renegade Drow and the Feywild one Moon Elves, but they haven't said anything about a new race being part of Shadowmantle, unless they do something like have a "half-drow" version of the Half Elf or some other "premium" version of one of the current races.

    there also wasn't a race associated with the guardian pack. so it's possible that the shadowmantle pack will be similar.

    Oh yeah I forgot that the Renegade Drow only came with the big $200 pack and not the $60 version. So yeah I guess things are par for course then.

    The companion collection interface on preview included a new type of purple hawk with a tooltip indicating it is available in a pack that doesn't yet exist.

    Now that the module date has been announced, a pack announcement will likely be along soon. It is also a good point that they might have been trying to reduce the confusion there was with the Feywild Knight packs being preorders.

    I am frankly surprised we haven't seen it yet, I was sorta disappointed with the FoF pack and passed, but would be interested in seeing what a Dread Ring pack would include.

    You should totally announce it now. Then you can start giving it away as a prize during the adventure hour.

    awww yeah!:o if it is heavily hunter themed i think i might crumble my morals and roll one:D
