Hi, I am downloading Neverwinter atm. I once played it, when it was newly in Open Beta and before that Closed Beta. So, I really liked Cleric class, could I get any advice on how to play it, what race, feats and stuff. I would appreciate any help, as much as I remember, with experience that I have is that its too squishy at some point and healing skills have less power of it. Anyway, please help me out. :)

I am not your forum friend or a GURU, but I will give this info so you can get started.

Rule number 1. There is no best build. I personally don't agree(subjective taste) with everything these authors write however generally good advice and very good builds.

Warning: A Pure PvP TANK Cleric is not good in Dungeons. Those clerics are usually only good in PvP and have maxed CON and DEX at the cost of spellpower and healing ability.

I would also avoid PvE only stuff like Feats and Powers that reduce threat since those are totally useless in PvP.

I am not saying any of these builds are bad they are all probably very good for the purpose they were created. Example a pure PvP TANK Cleric(CON maxed) Halfling or Dwarf will be good in PvP that for capturing and defending nodes.

NOTE: I did ask one author what enchants he use since was curious to know so no I am not super guru on enchants.

Finally warning many builds have outdated gear but the knowledge on feats and powers is pretty good even though I don't always agree. No I will not post my builds in the forums, but they are good in PvE and PvP:).

My "pure pvp tank" cleric has no problem in any dungeon in this game... Not to mention if you ever want to PvP you will be very sad you didn't roll halfling.

I can't give you any advice more in-depth than what's been said, but know this: They greatly reduced the amount of aggro that clerics draw from healing between open beta and now. You will not have to healstalk other people just to survive basic early-game quests anymore. Rejoice. :)

Never trust or follow any build 100%. Ur build must fit with ur playstyle or else u will start to dislike ur cleric.
    PvP based: Tank, Dps/Debuff, Heal+Support
PvE based: Pure Heal, Hybrid (Jacks of all Trades but i HIGHLY recommend u if u take this spec), Dps (unless u are highly-skilled and well-geared only)

Pick a path above then only start with ur build. Stat rolling? Do u prefer higher constant base damage and offensive ability or depends on criticals by luck? For hybrids (usually can well-performed in pvp and pve) go 16str 16 wis 12 cha.

U can go for 20 20 20 which is the most balanced one if u don't wan to min-max anything, highly-suggested for new cleric.
Not recommend to take tank build, till u master how to avoid attacks by walking or hiding in pvp, btw tank cleric has low heals but nearly immortal (see gctrl video and guides if interested), all builds no matter power, feat and ability depend on ur playstyle.
