I bought this new belt today (Ancient Necromancer's Belt of Undeath) that I thought would help my rogue a bit. I am using the stone of might companion.. but when i put on the belt I noticed I don't get the 616 hit point boost from it. The other stats like defence and deflection are added as it's supposed to. And when i try the belt on myself, for my own gear it gives me that hp boost.
I thought all stats on stones were given to the summoner? What's up with this..

It's pretty amazing, isn't it? I've been playing since April, levelled four toons, and I just learned this yesterday for myself when I put the same belt on my guardian fighter's stone. And even funnier is, I've never heard anyone mention it before.

Not noticing anyone mention it is just a fluke, as giving HP bonuses to augment companions is routinely cautioned against, and it's a big reason why a good rare belt is considered a better item than the epic ones.
You know what states are?
Second if you think it give you +hp, why you don't get the stone-hp, that showed in the character sheet. That would explain for some reason that any item don't give +hp too if it have +hp.

@Topic, i guess if they haven't added it yet then it most likely won't show up either. Would be a nice feature for stone tho.. as it's a bit like saying "Yeah, all the stats you have on stone is also given to you.. oh wait, lets NOT make that a legit statement and leave hp stat out of the equation." I'm sad panda Guess those 7k was a waste then.

Sorry, but they don't give HP, because then they are OP^2! You can't get the hp of items only. You have only the choose: Both or none. And none is now balanced and okay. If you get the +20k HP from the stone too, then you are in PvE unkillable!
Not a bug. Though it should be communicated far more clearly. Perhaps on tooltips of HP stat of pets (or tooltip of Eldritch Runestone).
This is also commonly used as a reason in the neverending debate for which is better in Cat versus Stone! If you use a defensive belt in a Cat, you will almost always lose a ton of stats due to the HP on it. But, of course, sensible Cat lovers only ever slot offensive belts...
And yes, the reasoning is obvious: players without a companion, especially an augment-class companion, would be SERIOUSLY disadvantaged! Even a little bit of an HP increase makes a big difference in PvE!
