Us in EoA love to run GG T2 DD for a chance for a some really good loot. Since the HV buff, we've been playing around with the fast way to burn the boss. Here's what we like to run. How about you? What's your ideal class set-up?
1) GWF-DPS
2) DC
3) CW
4) CW
5) CW, TR, or GWF-DPS
Strategy: CWs cast Singularity directly onto the boss while in he's in his armor. GWF/DPS burns through all of them and damages boss at the same time.

First of all, you need a good geared party because it is a hard fight. The quickiest run I completed took around 15 min and had a party of 2 TRs, 1 CW, 1 GF and 1 DC. This is the best party, imo. You could replace one of the TRs with a GWF or CW, but I think it would take you more time to complete it.

Since merge I got to run this again, each time with a relatively ungeared party. It takes forever. I think good TR on boss is essential in this fight to shorten it and sing on boss for a geared party is ideal.

For best chance of beating it, GF and TR on boss, everyone else beat off adds and debuff boss. When he exits armor, everyone beat on boss.
Better geared your party and the better your CW the fewer people you need on adds. Eventually you just get to the point where you stack everything on the boss and AOE it all down.

What's yours?
This group make up averages 4 runs in the 30 minute period given, roughly 7 minutes a run. No TR necessary, though it is possible that by dropping 1 CW we could boost this to 5 runs in a session.
As the GWF in the group, I can say I was 1st or 2nd in damage every run. Now granted we are all very geared and skilled players, we're offering an idea into how to get through the runs quickly and consistently, and looking for other's ideas of how to get through perhaps even quicker.

Exactly. We can get in four runs if we don't experience the queue bug. It burns the boss so fast with our GWF/CW/DC set up.
drop the GWFs for more CWs if you're focusing on AOE damage.
We've tried. Too slow. CWs cannot DPS boss and adds at the same time. With 2-3 CWs, we have enough Recovery to spam Singularities very quickly. GWF-DPS melt adds and hit boss at the same time. That frees us to DPS the boss as well. Haven't found a better set-up that this.
Before the patch, we would often run 4 HV CWs and one other (often no healer). Everything would melt. Since the patch we've had to improvise. This set us gets us to four runs in 30 mins, but not five (like we had before).
Anyway, if you can find a way to work five runs with 4 CWs, let us know. We can rock four with the set-up listed, but are open to other means if they're more efficient.

Maybe you should try one CW with sing, and 2 with OF, all party stacked on boss. OF still does very good damage even without stacking.

You only need sing to bring mobs together and really only need to pop it as mobs spawn as 4xshards 3x OF kill all adds. So as pers3phone mentioned try just 1 cw using sing.
been noticing this a lot since the HV nerf. Literally nothing about the HV nerf changed how wizards work in groups other than you don't use OF on draco anymore. OF is still the best AOE dps + CC daily. Singularity is still only really useful for punting or if the mobs have been spread too far out for the other AOEs to hit. With 3 wizards chaining OF non-cc immune mobs are perma stunned and/or dead, you don't even need a cleric.

Agree. One "sacrifice" wizard uses sing and maybe EF on Tab (and ideally other set than HV, I use SW now for most CN runs to add something useful since there are always other HV CWs), and the other 2 chain-AoE the mobs with boss. I doubt GWF can be more efficient at this job but I might be wrong, already played with some very good GFWs. OF still is very good damage and unlimited targets, if it crits it's awesome.

Well, we just tried 3 CWs, 1 TR and 1 DC. Went just as fast as with 1 GWF. All three CWs focused Sings on boss and went AoE damage. Very quick four runs.
Tank on boss, CW, GWF and DC on adds, and if there are too many adds the TR helps with adds. It shouldn't happen but he has to be ready to help. The key to win is to maintain a low number of adds. As long as you're doing that you're doing it right.
I like doing that with one of each class, it makes runs smoother, especially adds cleaning before the boss room. If you're cheating that's another story.
there is not best party. i have done guild runs with 3 GFs DC and CW. one of our GFs just took the boss to the back corner and dps it down every one else dealt with adds. took maybe 10 minutes. did it with 2 CWs DC TR and same GF. DC 2 CWs stayed in one spot and TR and GF took boss near entrance and it was easy was almost to easy. We have done a perfect mix 1 of each class and done it just fine and quick. yes haveing the proper gear helps but so does proper knowledge of your class and knowing how and when to use those encounters.

A standard rainbow composition party could maybe do 4 runs, but 3 seems more likely.
