this is in regards to companions that you currently have in game and even future planned ones. you keep making all these companions but guess what they are useless for anything but lvls 1-30. everything after that point gets one shot on bosses. thus there is no flavor to your game at all when it comes to companions. it's so silly to even keep releasing them considering every companion is 100000000000x worse than the augment companions which never die.
taking any other companion into high end dungeons is pointless even the normal mobs in T2 destroy your companions, which is a shame because i would enjoy using the other companions but the way it's set up now is your companions are useless unless they are a stone or cat.
please consider buffing companions in the next patch so there can be some flavor to ppl using companions other than stone and cat because it gets boring seeing just those all the time id like to see someone using the hawk or other zen store companions and if you want to boost the sales it might help.
a fix i was thinking is just make all other companions immune to dmg like the stone or cat. and since the damage the other companions actually do is negligable anyway would it even matter at all. or atleast make them immune to the red circles on the floor in dungeons that would help immensly.
anyway at this rate if you are going to release future companions in the game at least make everyone of them augment companions because as it is now the other ones are useless and no one will ever use them in any endgame dungeons. and it's sad becuase i would love to use diffrent companions and this would be a huge improvement im sure lots of other players would agree with me on that one. thanks

to add more dynamics, rather than making all pets augment maybe they should boost the strength of pets. make it REALLY strong, or have some game changing effect.

im not suggesting anything game changing or making them Super strong, im saying that as it is now every companion that isnt an augment is viewed by most to be useless and they just sit in you companion slots and never see the light of day. i would just like them to be something useful instead of nothing at all. they die almost instantly at lvl 60
also the 3 companion that are not the cat companion in the wonderous bazaars pricing is outrageous no one in their right mind is going to drop 700,000 astral diamonds on these pets that will die in 1-2 hits and dont augment you in anyway they need to be 100,000 or 200,000 at most i never see anyone with these for 110,000 more just buy the cat it's a million times better cryptic you really need to adjust those companions prices

In T2 dungeon they don't die instant - not my ones -. They help, but their Def+HP is less efficient as it should be. I hope the angel is something between fight pet and augment pet. It can't be killed, but it don't give you the stats of herself+equip. Her passivs are good enough then.
why not just make it so if pet dies it auto resummons its self 5 sec later I know its not realistic but as is there kind of useless and be good fix until there ai is better

Companions, as they are, are a complete joke. It's augment or nothing at level 60. Companions get splatted way to fast to be worth anything. I couldn't even say if they do damage or not... they just die.
make augment pets cost 10x more would also fix this
Lol nope, the rule I'm running when my cleric heals is basically Augment or nothing, and I'd say most clerics does the same from when I've played on my Wizzard and Rogue (Both 11k+ GS w/ Augment, so the clerics have a clue what they are doing). In a experienced party you HAVE to have a Augmented pet, it's worth about 2.5-3.5k stats (with proper gear), so those 14k+ CW's/TR's/DC's actually has the stats for someone at almost 18k gearscore without a Cat/Ioun Stone. Augumented pets are insanely powerful if geared correctly..
But, why do the Clerics want your summoned Cleric/Vanguard/Sylf/Phoera gone? 3 reasons, 1. It pull trash which shouldn't be pulled most of the time. 2. It is a semi-valid target for several of our spells, last time I checked, I could target a party members companion with HV, but not cast it. 3. It's a valid target for several AoE heals, most having a cap of the amount of players it can heal.
So it forces me to heal a harder fight since it's pulling more stuff, without me being able target properly at times, while it's being healed instead of the tank.. Yeah, I totally want these to look more appealing, would be great if more people brought them to dungeons..
So, the only thing the 10x higher price on Augumented pets (which then would be $200 for a Ioun Stone of Allure, and about $230 for a cat, both sounds extremely affordable for the standard, non-exploiting casual gamer..) would achieve is strengthening the top 10-20% players position over the rest..
Basicly 3.5k Gearscore would differ between the ones with a Augmented pet, and those without.. Sounds like the current elitist meta for CN farming would be dissolved and let new players have a chance..
