Hi Devs, the Call to arms queue has a pretty obvious issue that I believe can be easily fixed.
It's obvious you use a group template for the queue system that requires a tank, a healer, and 3 dps (the trinity).
However, Call to arms doesn't require a tank and a healer; 5 dps can just as easily complete Call to arms just as easily (if not easier)
If I queue on my GF or DC I don't need to wait at all. I get picked up right away by the queue. If I queue on my CW, GWF, or TR I need to wait at least 30 minutes.
In terms of demographics, this is a problem because only 1 out of 5 classes is a tank and only 1 out of 5 classes is a healer but 3 out of 5 classes are dps. So the queue has a pretty obvious bottleneck.
The only way I can reliably do CTA on my dps classes is to queue with a full group.
The last call to arms had the same issue.

True, it's so easy that nearly any combo could pull it off. 5 DC or TR might be a little odd, but probably still possible.
Also, should probably have made the title CTA instead of CAT.
You cant Queue beacuse the most famus classes are CW TR AND GWF(pvp class's) and only 2 each class we can have in 1 random party.
I wasn't aware of this extra limitation. So there can only be 2 of each class? I suggest this limitation be removed for CTA. It's useless and slows down queue time.
I think allowing any combination is bad, simply due to open level range. Any combination of well geared level 60s can steam roll it. But a group of mixed levels, and possibly limited experience, in a mismatched party could be an unwinable combination.
An easy solution would be to allow GWFs to fill in the GF role. They might not be able to hold agro as well as a GF. But they can be nearly as sturdy. They can at least take point and draw in the initial agro. And it will have the instant benefit of doubling up on the number of tanks in the queue, while reducing the glut DPS.
This, or some similar solution, will ultimately have to happen before we see new classes. If the next two classes are the ones everyone is speculating on. That will be 2 more DPS classes already adding to the glut with nothing new to balance it out.

You know today I've been running with my GWF mostly, since I don't use her for DDs anymore. She's a Titan geared Sentinel spec, the kind you hate in PVP. When you look at the CTA rankings at the end, about as often as not the GF has done more damage than me, and as I often use her speed just to run around and herd the mobs up, I'll take more damage than the GF. Somewhere in the 'balancing' update their vision of what the roles for the classes were became even blurrier than before. Go figure

Why might that be? Certainly because GF and DC are extremely overpowered and are never the target of immense nerfes that make those toons less fun to be played. OH NO!
It a GF kills a player in PvP there is immediately "NERF THEM". DC the same. Now you see the result. Just say Stalwart Bulwark, HoF.
I liked to play my GF until they nerfed the Stalwart set. With the complete remodelling ... not much fun anymore.
