Ok so lately I have seen a lot of people going dual gear as in 2 pieces of one set and 2 pieces of another and was wondering if doing that would be any good for a DC if so what kind of other gear should I be looking for because Im focused on healing people pve more so then pvp and I currently use Grand Templar full set + the Ancient t2 wep/icon

P.S Thinking of swapping 2 GTemplar for 2 Prophet champ

All your opinions would be greatly appreciated

Depends mostly on whether you need the stats: wearing 2/2 gets you an extra +450 of something, at the cost of losing the 4-piece bonus. Beyond a certain point (high rank enchants, stone, etc) you're getting softcapped for a lot of stuff, and the +450 becomes less useful than, say, the constant small (but free) heals from the full miracle healer's set.

Tbh I dont see a difference with the grand templar 4 piece bonus I dont think anyone else does either unless its there and I just cant see it, currently Ive been crit healing for almost 6k or so when I've been on the look out for how much I heal so I cant really tell if I need the stats or a completely different set of gear >.<

    Hey there Ladynightroad,

What set you use is really based on personal preference and as morsitans said above it really depends on if you are already soft capped on particular stats. Personally I run with MH 4 set but I also have rank 7/8 chants so I am far above soft caps. If you are happy to post your current stat levels we might be able to make further suggestions :) and also are you running a ioun stone of allure?.

    Sincerely

In a nutshell; Best for pve is miracle healer, second best probably combining two set bonuses or going full high prophet to support your group's dps. Best for pvp is full blue "of youth" regen gear.

Nah I dont have the stone just yet was thinking of getting it soon though and here are my stats,

I ran into some form of bug with my skills where it was showing the lvl 30 paragon path for a wizard and the only way to pass through that and see my skills again was to respec so before that I was sitting at 11.3-11.6k gs and since redoing my build Im at what it says there. I have also read other forum threads and MH and Beacon of Faith gear keeps coming up so maybe a combination of those two I dont know >.<

The miracle healer 4 set bonus is not worth it in my opinion.

I prefer to have the extra stats and have my power executed how i wish without some random proc heal being part of it.

In my opinion 2+2 is BIS.

There is no soft cap for more power. To each their own!

There is no soft cap for power, but it adds very little to your healing and damage. You'd have to add several thousand Power to make up for a 5% heal every encounter.

At end game, there is no question that the set bonuses are what to look for. Miracle Healer, Prophet Champion, High Prophet, and the Fabled set have useful set bonuses. Any set bonuses that buffs stats is almost pointless, both because the diminishing return on the ratings and because the rather long cooldown on the proc. IMO, it's hard to be High Prophet. 30% more damage on, say, the boss is huge, assuming your healing is adequate.

So basically Miracle Healer gives out the most healing? because I dont pvp unless its gaunt and atm my crit heals range from 5.2k-6k+ depending on whether or not Im healing with divinity. In a past dungeon run people commented on my gear and said something about basing my offense slots as power and defense as defense and said I do some pretty good healing however I really am not sure what I could do to increase my healing output without losing too much of the stats I have currently

Miracle Healer might give the most healing. Prophet Champion might. The new Fabled set might. I'm not sure exactly, and it might depend on several factors. But any of those three should give your more healing than a 2/2 setup. There is almost no way that +450 to Power/Crit/Recovery can provide more healing than those set bonuses.

As for which one to get, it's hard to say. Miracle Healer is the old standard, and more people have it and are familiar with it, and swear by it. Prophet Champion is newer and usually ignored because it has Life Steal instead of Crit, but you can add crit in other ways. The new Fabled set might be harder or easier for you to get, depending. You have to get the arms from a boss drop or DD chest in Malabog's Castle dungeon, but the other three pieces are purchased from the seal vendor.

The main purpose of DC is damage mitigation rather than healing. There is no one set that one must have. It depends on the group that do dungeon hunting with you.
