I was running CN during DD earlier and right as draco died the group leader booted the entire group to ninja the loot for himself (on that note DO NOT group with <omitted name>, he is a complete scumbag) so of course I report it. I get the normal "we're investigating blah blah blah" response, and asked if it was possible to get reimbursed for the stolen item/DD chest I should have gotten. GM's response?

<Removed Private Correspondance>

what kind of joke is that? I've played at least 5 other MMOs and everyone of them had GMs that would have fully fixed the problem... this is just shameful. anyone else ran into this?

    i really dont see how they can help you either way. like mail you a random DD chest item you should have gotten or the draco roll you might have won?

    the only way to fix this problem is to make it so they cant boot people who arent DCed in the party like what they did with pvp.

    i also think that dudes name will get bleeped out but what can ya do

    i don't see why they couldn't mail a random DD item, it's random when i get it from the chest anyway. And there's several ways to handle the draco drop such as mailing 1/4 of the AD that it's worth or randomly selecting a group member who didn't steal and send it to him.
    seems like in the end the theif walks away with the draco drop and gets rewarded for cheating. its a complete slap in the face.

    GMs from other games can (and have) done it, so I don't buy the whole "well what can they do?" thing

    I hate people like that, but you better edit his name out. Naming and shaming is against forum rules, and if his name doesn't get removed a mod is going to send this to the "Lower Depths".

    Wouldn't want a good conversation to just get thrown away.

    Name and shame? Try putting credibility where it belongs.
    I'm not surprised they edited out their reply that I posted though, it's flat out shameful

    They removed it cause you are not allowed to post private correspondence on the forums as per the forum rules.

    With their customer service I can see why they don't allow it... Thankfully there's 3rd party sites that they can't hide their poor service from!

    That's why you should post it someplace else and just link to it. Also, the party rules that make the leader is a mystery as well (highest GS?). I know when I start a party I always lose leadership which is really annoying.

    Censorship at its finest.

    Nope not censorship. They are called private messages for a reason. It is the samething with other MMOs.

    Yeah customer service here is as <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> as with all PWE games. It isn't gonna get better (given its been like this for many years). As long as they're continuing to make money they ain't gonna do anything differently.
