See title. When I load the game again right after first crash, game works as usual. But 20 mins after exiting game, same happens.

I have this problem as well. I am able to avoid crashing if I let my Select Character screen fully load. Sometimes it loads VERY slowly and if I don't wait until I see the character picture the game will crash when I enter the game.

I did not notice this just after the patch - but my launcher patched this morning (10AM UTC) & the character load screen got very slow & most times I crashed to desktop just after the 'homepage' loaded & the Invoke icon updated.
Submitted a bug report & the crash reports, now this evening the character screen is still slow, but after a full round of invokes and profession updates - not 1 crash!
Similar problem, I can get into the game after rather lengthy load times, and even play for awhile. However, since the patch I have been plagued with GameClient.exe crashes. This has happened 6 times so far today with around 3-4 hrs of play time. Frequently happens in instances, which I now give myself about a 30% chance of finishing without an error.
Now, Im guessing it had something to do with the patch, but I cant be sure as I have verizon as a SP and havent been able to play without constant disconnects, rubber banding and severe lag for the last 2 or 3 days.
The bright side is, at least the lag seems to have dissipated.
So far I have gone through several force verify's with the launcher, cleaned my registry and all temp files with ccleaner, and did a full disk scan and file verify with chkdsk, which came back with no errors.
Problem persists.

Started again this afternoon (12:30PM UTC)
signs it's going to crash:
Very Very Very slow character screen load times... I mean running in circles for quite a while, given how little data it needs to send.
Did someone cut the number of servers/instances running at the last maintenance???

I have the same. It's either lag so it looks like a slide show or crashes, also since last patch.

I have something similar but not identical. If in my session on the PC I've used Pidgin prior to logging into NW, the game will most of the time crash just after entry (it appears to be when it calls up the screen that you can also get by hitting "L"). I have to restart my PC and it will then log in fine. This is also only since the last patch.
Anybody know if there's any way to disable the calling up of that window on login ? I really don't need it anyway.
