New to the game. I see guys advertising things like 10k+ DC LFG. I assume that is a DPS
number. How do you calculate that number.
That's a Gear Score (GS) It is increased by getting better gear. Some dungeons require a minimum level to enter. Some players demand a minimum level because rightly or wrongly they believe a lesser score makes the run more difficult or perhaps impossible.

Saddens me, as it would be in their benefit to recruit those who are not at 10K and help them run that Dungeon as for the next time they can return the favour to another player and so on. Would only help improve the community by a long shot!
Too many peeps with large (or think they have) epeen's these days I guess???
if you play as a cleric if you spec for defense you go with blue gear instead of purple, and the blue will have a much lower GS... the only problem with this is that no matter how high of defense a cleric has it not only sucks but is a mere fraction of the defense a GF has
