The Amulet of the Shining Sun NW-DRKKGUI26

Thanks to all who helped review and rated my first quest - 3 Suns Aligned. I have made many many changes since then.
I'd like to introduce Part 2 of the Tale of the Amulets campaign - The Amulet of the Shining Sun. The chapter starts where the first one left off. You must find the other 2 amulets before it is too late!

Some of the unique features of this quest include
1) Monsters which change according to which options you choose. Only 1 out of 3 will be encountered every time you do the quest.
2) Mini-boss fight which also changes depending on decisions you choose! Huge amount of replayability!
3) Epic boss fight at the end. The boss has multiple "stages" and you will have allies to help!

Please do give it a review and rating (and play the first one if you haven't too) The quest length is roughly 15-20 min long.

Just reviewed and rated your quest.

Top notch! I'm usually more of a combat rather than puzzle guy, but this quest really got me in the mood for more puzzles! Love the writing and direction. If I had one comment to make, make the last boss slightly tougher.

The trolls you face outside seemed tougher than her.

EDIT:

Some of the guards were under the world. Could only get them as a rogue with teleporting stuff.
Many of your mobs have changed costumes but the names don't match
Interacting with the backpack could use an emote.
Enjoyable combat
Stuck in combat during three apprentices fight. Maybe something behind a wall? Unable to continue as I cannot teleport while in combat.

Hope this helps - wish I could finish this one.

Thanks hflord1. fixed the behind the wall issue. I moved the mobs further back so there's no chance of aggro.
Whereabouts are the guards under the world?

I've completed "The Amulet of the Shining Sun", though I screwed up by hit alt to turn off fraps at the end. So, I couldn't actually do the review.

It was a lot of fun.

Very nice use of the environment and objects. Walls disappearing, digging through rocks, etc..

I did find a few minor issues and will edit this post after my video replay is up and ready on youtube.

I did the Boba chain, the last fights were epic and at the right difficulty

Overall a very awesome segment everyone should try. Nice use of mechanics to work through a dungeon.

Hi all

Thanks for the playthroughs
Have redited the quest and fixed the following

Grammatical and spelling errors in dialogue

And most importantly, the bug with the mobs behind the wall. What happened was, I only wanted specific mobs to appear, so I hid the others in the group behind a wall far away. They weren't supposed to be appearing. However some playthroughs they appear to aggro the player and thus rendering the quest uncompleteable. I have since fixed this but spawning a WHOLE bunch of guards in the same room as those mobs, so they should kill them well before the player deals with the main room.

Hi ~ heres my review

All in all your foundry is nice - but ! some environment got the foundry names like "FX Magic Portal" - while looting some chest my character just stand and got no animation like "interact normal/chest" - the wolfes in the "underground" feels inappropriate to me may you change it with other monsters...

and now the major issue in your foundry "NW-DRKKGUI26"

for some reason your monster spawn is bugged right now ~ one of the three monsters are hanging into the ground and isnt attackable for me - just check out my screenshots below. I've tryed to use /killme but the whole at is respawned.

Thanks for the note eoxid. I played through it myself and found the bug. Will fix it once the editor comes online! In the meantime, you can check out the other 2 options when you talk to the Einryes in the beginning. It will spawn different types of mobs!
