What difference does this make? Is it a buff, a nerf, or just a change?

    I believe it will now crit and update with mitigation reduction independently, rather then when first applied.

    If you're talking about Conduit of Ice, each tic was counting as a spell cast (would proc stuff and stopped working when out of line of sight), although it still worked like a DoT in terms of critting.


    Also any dot tics update on mitigation reduction btw, even those that weren't "dots".

    I beleive its kinda of a buff, such as previously with entangling force. When used on a mob immune to the CC aspect it would not take the damage. As I understand, now they should still take the damage and ignore the CC, since the game calculates them seperately now.

    I'm wondering - do DOTs pull more aggro than Burst DPS? In most MMOs this is the case.
