What is it?

There is something on the screen on the left side of the character that looks kinda like a crescent moon with a shield in the center. Does that make sense? Anyone know what I mean? What the heck is it? Lol.
I tried to take a screen shot but it came up nothing but a black picture.
I'm gonna rip your head off and make it my puppet! (NwN2)

    Hi eyebreaker!

    I don't know what it is, but to take a screenshot in-game (and not have it be all black), you can use the /screenshot command.

    /screenshot will produce a TGA file by default.
    For JPEG format, you can use /screenshot_jpeg

    The UI is automatically removed. If you want to keep the UI, you can use /screenshot_ui_jpg (for JPEG) or /screenshot_ui (for TGA)

    I'm assuming you type it in the chat box?
    What do you use to "paste" the shot? I can't seem to get it to "paste" in windows paint.

    ctrl-v is the hotkey to paste

    Are you a Control Wizard? If so, it may be your friendly little orb, the wizard's implement. If this is what you're referring to, then it will change as you equip new orbs.

    Are you a Guardian Fighter? If so, this may be your block meter. Is it a left-facing arc hud, the height of your character? If so, then this meter will fill up as you deal damage and be expended when you block (shift) attacks.

    You can also just hit the "print screen" key on your keyboard.
    Figure it out for yourself or obey without question.
