I am curious on their thoughts on the future of the foundry tool. Lots of bugs... lots of missing basic assets... etc...
I hope they continue to support and grow this

Yes, I'm also disappointed in the lack of love the foundry gets. Little near-worthless fixes so far without fixing the bigger things.
For example, they went through seven patches of the game in-between Foundry patches. And the Foundry patches were all gameplay related instead of correcting issues with the foundry tools themselves.
Right now, the foundry is the only thing that keeps me playing this game. Some of the user quests are by far the best thing I've seen in the game. However the foundry editor as it stands has severe limitations and quite a few bugs.

Ooo oo, I was there and can confirm the bird! I just wish that it was a little more concrete.
It seems the birdie was wrong based on patch notes if they mention a double ad weekend (which shouldn't even be important enough to mention in patch notes) but no mentions of Foundry.
Checking the box for a double astral diamond weekend and included that in the patch notes? That doesn't even seem to be worth mentioning for patch notes as it doesn't patch anything. I'd been thinking based on the size of the various patches that they'd been fixing minor things but not including them in the patch notes and just listing the big things. Seeing 'added double astral diamond weekend' makes me think otherwise.

I did say maybe. But yeah, seems the birdie was overly hopeful as we all are. But at least it lets me know that it is happening.

Little birdies in general are an inherent conflict of interest problem.
/points at EVE online for what can happen, where little birdie devs were caught giving out stuff to their ingame friends (think sets of T3 gear, purple everything, and billions of AD).

And when is our music going to be fixed?

Granted it was a bird, and you know how reliable those twits are.
I sure hope so!

Ideally the sound would be fixed. But new asset implementation from the art thread would be welcome too.
