nwcalc.com - Neverwinter powers and feats calculator

Hey guys,

As there was a lack of a linkable class build tool, I've gone ahead and built a powers & feats calculator for you all to use.

http://nwcalc.com

All the classes are there, including powers and feats. Just click the 'copy build url' button to share your build with others on the forum here.

There is likely some bugs and text/image issues so let me know if you find any discrepancies. Keeping in mind that the devs seem to be changing images and descriptions quite often during this open beta phase. I'll do my best to keep it up to date. If you wanted to help, the best thing you can do is keep the official wiki up to date, as I don't have time to level all the classes to 30, and also the wiki is not very consistent between classes at the moment.

I'll tackle additional paragon classes when the time comes, but for now its just the available ones.

Any comments / suggestions let me know.

Enjoy :)

There wasn't a lack of a tool - http://reyva.com/resources/neverwinter-powers-feat-simulator.9/ Was release quite awhile ago, yours is nice too though. :D

    My hero. Bookmarked.

    Thanks so much for this.

Also, I'd like to point out that the Human race gives us 3 extra Heroic feat points, which in turn means I can't really link my build to a friend because I'm missing 3 points in there.

    Very nice.

Some bugs in the GWF section:

    * Some abilties cannot be unselected or reduce in points once put into it. All the 1st to 3rd tier of abilities (at the 15 point abilities) are bugged like that.

    * Endless assault is only 3 ranks but it has 5 ranks to put points into.
    * Fast runner has 5 ranks but only 3 ranks to put points into.
    * Destroyer's purpose has 1 rank but it says 5 ranks here.

Yep, though its only the three points. If its requested enough I may make a checkbox to toggle the extra human points.

About time something like this comes up... I say this deserves a sticky.

    Update:

    - Fixed a bunch of feats that had incorrect maximum.
    - Logic for the powers calculator is proper fixed now. You should not be able to accidentally make impossible builds now. Let me know if this is otherwise.

I think every class is more or less 100% now. Let me know if you find any other issues.

Meh if anything http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?176942-NW-Powers-Feats-Simulator&highlight=simulator is the one deserving of sticky. It was first, and is not buggy - is actually complete.

Each to their own, if you prefer that tool then by all means use it.

I just wanted to satisfy my own curiosity and build one for myself, may as well share with the community while I'm at it.

No I think it's great that you made one and I hope you continue to improve it, remove bugs - get everything in such as human feat bonuses etc.. It just annoyed me people freaking out asking for sticky as if it was the first one, when there is another one posted much earlier, and more completed which got largely ignored. :)

Honestly I will prefer using yours once it is complete, since it seems to have better performance on my system, the other is a bit laggy for me.

No worries. I think a lot of people struggle to find such a tool, at least I didn't find the one you linked when searching the forums / google etc. The others I found at the time didn't impress me so much, and didn't have the ability to link to pre-made builds, so I decided to make my own.

I'll be looking at adding an option for the human heroic feat bonus tomorrow if I get time :)

To anyone who's repec'ed, are you limited in where you can place points like in leveling? In other words, do I have to place points in skills I'll never use just to get the next level unlocked? Both calculators seem to work this way. Ans definitely leveling works this way.

Doesn't work for me. No matter what class I click on, I get this text:
    -
    {{classData.classname}} - {{classData.paragonname}}

    *ad*

    Power points spent: {{spentPowerPoints}} | Feat Points spent: {{spentFeatPoints}}
    -

And clicking on the Powers button or Feats button does nothing. I'm using Chrome.

What version of chrome are you using? Any special blocking addons? Because i've tested in in chrome / firefox / ie10 on multiple PC's / devices without any hitches.

    Try a ctrl + refresh (f5).

Very cool, thanks for this. Is there a way to add the extra feat points if you're a human?

I like this better compared to the other. Mods should just create a thread with a list of tools on them and sticky it. Would be nice to have a tool for stats and gear. :3

Ctrl F5 worked. My chrome is version 27.0.1453.94 m; a quick google search resulted in a reported issue with flash in this version. Thx!
