History Lessons quest, I'm in Artisan's tomb ( the outside part ).

I have gotten all 8 pages and went afk, it reseted my quest, I got them back in not so long and when I tried to grab the key it said I had one, I discarded my key and grabbed it, went to the gate and I was under attack, so i'm not sure if I could open the gate or not because I was under attack, I tried to kill the monsters on the other side of the fence that was attacking me with Duelist Flurry ( Rogue ), and I somehow managed to slip pass the gate, without opening it. :o

    The only problem I am having with this quest is once in the tomb, I can't get to the book which I'm assuming is in the tomb itself. I can't get any farther with it and have even reset the quest but getting rid of the quest and taking it again. I still not able to retrieve it. Is there something I'm missing?
