ok now is it just me or is this math correct? if so then GG for those that are paying to win
in this game.

16 rank 7's for 4 rank 8's to make 1 rank 9
16 rank 8's for 4 rank 9's to make 1 rank 10
16 rank 9's for 4 rank 10's to make 1 rank 11
16 rank 10's for 4 rank 11's to make 1 rank 12
16 rank 11's for 4 rank 12's to make 1 rank 13
16 rank 12's for 4 rank 13's to make 1 rank 14
16 rank 13's for 4 rank 14's to make 1 rank 15

so in total it takes 112wards to make 1 rank15 it is 1k zen wich is 10$
grats for those that can actually do the math and would see you spending 1120$
for one rank 15 enchant.

now if you multiply that by the number of slots you have in total for your
gear 5 offensive slots 3 utility 2 defensive.

2 more offensive slots for shirt and pants.

so if you went with offensive slots for rank 15 enchants you will have 1120$X7=7840$
you like utility slots to have rank 15 enchants as well that will be 1120$X3=3360$
oh you want your Defensive slots to have rank 15 enchants as well 1120$X2=2240$
you want all of your slots to have best enchants in the game well here we go then
2240+3360+7840=13440$ grats on spending over 10 grand on F2P game.

now if this is incorrect show the math be for you post i would like to see what others have come up with.

when the alternative is some 3-4 year of grinding 16hrs/day every day at 100% success rate on dungeon runs, and new content will probably make it all redundant before you have it all.

    win IF you pay.

First, your math is way wrong going from rank 7 to rank 15.

    1 Rank 15
    4 Rank 14s to make 1 Rank 15
    16 Rank 13s to make 4 Rank 14s
    64 Rank 12s to make 16 Rank 13s
    256 Rank 11s to make 64 Rank 12s
    1024 Rank 10s to make 256 Rank 11s
    4096 Rank 9s to make 1024 Rank 10s
    16384 Rank 8s to make 4096 Rank 9s
    65536 Rank 7s to make 16384 Rank 8s

Presumably you need a ward for each of those, so you'd need 65,536 Rank 7s and 21,845 wards to go from Rank 7 to Rank 15.

That aside though, where did you hear that enchantments go up to Rank 15? I've yet to see an enchantment above rank 8 yet, but I was told they do go up to rank 9. It would be a monumental effort to ever get to Rank 15 unless they introduce dungeons that are literally dropping at least Rank 12s.

so where did you hear we have total of 15 ranks of enchantments/runestones. the game files only list up to 10.

    SO far I have
    The Inferno Mount
    The Twilight inferno mount
    The Phoera
    The Flaming twilight enchant
More epic gear and enchants (two 60's with R7) than I can shake my fist at.
I treated myself to the Hon pack, but other than that I have spent a whopping 10.00 on Zen and have not touched my 2 mil in AD and none of this stuff I need to have fun....so please explain to me how that is remotely P2W?

Presumably you need a ward for each of those, so you'd need 65,536 Rank 7s and 87,381 wards to go from Rank 7 to Rank 15.

Isn't it more like 16,384 wards for 65,536 rank 7 enchantments as if I recall right, you need 1 ward for 4 enchantments for 100% success. So 65,536 divided by 4 equals required wards?

Rank 15 is going to be the max rank for enchantments for end game least that is what i hear so yes rank 15 is not in game files but might be when first initial raid is released which might have rank 7's at least and i am not saying that paying to win is bad or good, just i don't see why would spend so much on a f2p game that you can get currency in other ways. either from AD-zen or spending AD on the broker.

It's 21,845 wards and not 87,381 like I originally wrote (but already corrected). This is because initially I included a ward for each of the Rank 7s, but instead I assumed you got Rank 7s without needing them.

16,384 wards will only take your 65,536 Rank 7 enchantments to 16,384 Rank 8 enchantments. You then need to divide that by 4 to get another 4,096 wards to fuse your Rank 8s, so forth and so on up to your 1 Rank 15. If you somehow managed to acquire the 65,536 Rank 7 enchantments, you would need 21,845 wards to then fuse 1 Rank 15 from them.

It's not luck it's understanding the AH, I'm not a crafter so I make quite a bit of AD selling Blue profession resources, If I come across a epic enchant that isn't for my class I sell it for the one I need, I also make a decent bit selling uncommon greens. It isn't rocket science and it's not like it's a limited market everyone I know does the same thing

I never say learn to play..but in this case....guess it's easier to scream P2W.

so there is speculation of rank 15 enchantments when no one has seen a rank 10. ok. when i see the game files list up to rank 15, i'll worry, till then rank 5 is the highest i'll put in gear.

you could use the cheaper wards, but i'm not sure to what rank you'd have to stop using them.

I've never been a big AH user in any MMO, not my cup o' tea. And I'm not screaming P2W either. I'm just pointing out that your situation isn't anywhere near the average person.

As far as the topic, my opinion is that the game isn't that P2W but it's at least on that side of the scale. Considering the time investment the average person would have to put in to generate the AD required to get things like that. You'll either not be playing the game by that time, or the item will be obsolete. Unless you're an AH user, which I'm not. I don't find enjoyment out of that, nor want to spend the time doing it.

but p2w would imply that you couldnt enter the raid/content unless you paid for said content. this would also include any gear being gated by said payment.

we are not, currently, gated by any means having to pay to progress.

The vast time requirement for the average gamer would equate to being gated in my opinion.
