I actually like seeing it. It helps me realize if i am doing a good rotation or using a good combination of skills... I do not care if I am on top, but I do not want to be on bottom.

i would say best dressed and most emotes are not needed but i would like to know who was idle the most during a match and who killed most of the low level creatures. if i am in a group and i was killed 12 times then i know i need to work on my skills. nothing wrong having the facts displayed.

I like to see how I stack up. If another rogue is doing tons more damage than me, then I know I need to improve in some area. You should look at it as a learning experience instead of complain about "epeen" and continuing to play in a clearly inferior manner.
However, I really wish it wasn't even part of the game. There are other things each class can and should do, other than doing the most damage, etc..
I feel it fosters bad play, because all people care about is trying to be first on that damage list. You know that one rogue that always runs up ahead of everyone else? The one that only focuses dps on the boss and doesn't worry about taking out that caster that's nuking everyone?
Plus, I think it counts companions' damage for the player. I tested it out by using a striker companion on the storm the keep skirmish. I was playing my wizard, which is so not built for dps, but thanks to a boss fight with minimal adds, my panther, even with its horrible AI, just dps'd the boss for the five to ten minute fight, and I ended up doing more than 3 times the damage of anyone else, which I know wasn't just from my wizard.
So do you think people will bring a healer or tank companion to help out the cleric? No. They're going to bring a cat with their dps class, so they can "do the most damage."
I bring my cleric to see if I can do the most heals. And often do. :V
Then again as a GF, and with that cleric having a heal scaled to my HP, it's not exactly fair..
i like the damage taken bit as a tank if shows me at 600k and everyone is below 100k im doing my job right, i also like the
"falls over bit" if its 0 i feel good we just flawless ran that dungeon

All statistics are good, if you dont like it just dont look at it or hide it with X, i would like to have even more statistics in advanced view, because statistics and tests and all those little twitches and changes makes you stronger in the end.

- Add double the damage count in just 1 dungeon!
- Improve chance to find a party!
- Make other DPS envy you!
